Chapter 24

I sit downstairs waiting for Talon to arrive.

"You sure you will be okay? I can take you and wait outside to bring you home" Jake says worried.

"I'll be fine, I'll call you if I need you" I say smiling. Deep down I did want Jake to do that but I can't do that to him. The doorbell rings and I jump up and go to it.

"Hello gorgeous" Talon says looking me up and down. I smile.

"Guys I'm going" I shout out.

"Okay sweetheart, be safe!" Mum shouts out. Dad was at work and Jake was panicking. Before I could change my mind I closed the door and walked to the car with him. My shoes clicking as I walk down the path.

We arrive at the party and head inside.

"Talon!" I hear someone shout. Talon grips my hand and walks over to him me following him.

"You alright Fin" he says smirking. We follow fin into the main hall and sit at the same table as them. I don't say much just sit there and watch. Suddenly I see Sky and Marcus turn up. I jump up and call them over. Sky comes sits next to me and Marcus sits next to Sky.

They were fine now I helped them sort things out. We all sat their laughing our heads of about some rumour that got out about Lexi. The suddenly I see Cath standing behind me.

"Hey mind if I join you" she says smiling. She was wearing a short red dress and her hair was nicely done and she did look pretty. I saw Sky mumble something them stand up.

"Feel free you take my seat" she says gritting her seat. Marcus looks up at Sky confused.

"I'm going to the toilet!" She says and walks off.

"I better go after her" I whisper to Talon and walk on after her.

"Sky! Sky wait up" I say trying to run after her.

"Oh hey Danni!" I heard a familiar voice say. It was Noah.

"Oh hi" I say a bit shy after what happened last time. He sounded a bit drunk so I decided To keep running after Sky. When I got to the toilets she was standing in front of the mirror re doing her mascara.

"You alright" I say standing next to her. She sighs and starts to talk .

"Yep apart from the fact Mark's ex is here and she looks more pretty then me" she sighs. The bathroom door opens and Cath walks in.

"Everything okay I'm here?" She said. She was playing Marcus and sky. She knew what she was doing.

"Fine thanks" Sky said now topping up her lipgloss. Cath walked over her heels clicking along.

"How can you walk in those there massive" Sky says in a weird voice. Cath stands in the mirror sorting her hair out.

"I can pull any heels of" she smirks. The dress she was wearing was really short near showing her underwear.

"Well I better get to back to my boyfriend, he's expecting me" Sky says. Cath stares in the mirror.

"What the boyfriend you stole from me?" Cath says turning round to face her. Sky just stood there and laughed.

"Anyway I'm over him, I have my eye on someone else" Cath laughed then smiled at me and walked out.

"Well that was weird" I say.

"Who do you think she has her eye on?" Sky asks.

"I don't know but better not be Talon" I laugh. We hug each other then head back to the table. As we walk into the hall I can see Cath talking to Marcus and Talon but I think nothing of it.

"Fancy a dance?" sky laughs. I smile and we run into the dance floor and start dancing like drunk teenagers. Ten minutes later Talon and Marcus joined us.

"Do you mind if I go chat with my mates outside as your happy?" Talon asks still his arms wrapped around me. I nod.

"Sure" I reply. He kissed me goodbye and I watch him walk out. The three of us continue to join while Cath sits at the table watching. We carried on dancing for about half an hour and I looked back at your table and Talon wasn't there.

"Missing him?" Sky says. For some reason more people were getting drunk and kissing a lot of girls for some reason this made me panic after what happened last time. I feel a panic attacking coming on. Marcus and Sky know me well and they know how I feel.

"Come on let's go find Talon" Marcus says and Sky gives me a smile. We walk at the hall and out into the back. There was about five boys sat over at a bench and but Cath was there two. She was sitting on one of the boys but I couldn't make out who it was. Marcus touched my hand as he noticed who it was.

"Who is it?" I whisper up to him. Now sky has noticed.

"It's Talon" he whispers back. I walk back a little bit and it is. Talon looked a bit drunk but Cath was sat on top of him. As I start to march over their about to have a massive go at him. Cath leans in and kisses him and all the boys start laughing. But then they notice me watching.

"Talon.." One of the boys says punching his arm. Cath looks over and notices me and jumps of him. Talon looks at me completely shocked. I feel a tear appear in my eye. He stood up and started to walk over me.

"Danni..." He started. I took a thee steps back.

"No.. Don't talk to me" I say calmly trying to keep my anger in.

"She came onto me" he tried saying still coming forward.

"Don't!" I shout. I walk up close to him so I can feel him breathing.

"I thought you was different" I whispered then turned round and walked away. All the tears started to fall and Sky ran after me. I went behind the building and that's when the panic attack started...
