Chapter 40

After explaining everything to Jake, he found ways to cheer me up by telling me old stories making me laugh an awful lot.

"I'll be right back, just going to the toilet" I said and stood up and started to walk away. The boy who was bothering me was still there he was waiting for someone. He stared at me again as I walked away so I just replied with a deadly glare.

I looked in the mirror as I washed my hands. My hair was starting to fall out of place so I let it down and put half of it up. It wasn't great but better then what it was a minute ago. Then I headed out the toilets and back to the table.
What is happening?? I thought to my self. Chai was sat in my space at the table and Talon was with that boy. I wanted to all of a sudden just vanish. I just hated the fact I was surrounded by boys one being my boyfriend, one being some jerk who keeps mocking me, Chai and Jake who don't like Talon but are putting an act on.

"Dan are you going to stand there all day?" Chai laughed as he noticed me. Suddenly Talon looked up and that jerk they obviously heard Chai. Jake was staring at Talon and the other one probably wanting to say something stupid. Talon send me a smirk as I walked back to the table.

"Hey can you take me home I really need to go home" I rushed. Jake looked at me confused.

"What's wrong?" He asked then looked behind me at Talon.

"I completely forgot I've got an Art exam I need to finish" I lied.

"No you haven't? You told me the other night you've finished all art stuff now" Jake said. He knew what I was trying to do so he grabbed my arm and pulled me into the seat next to him. I leaned closer to him and whispered.

"This isn't funny"

The two boys continued talking about football things. So why did I even have to be here?  Suddenly I felt my phone go off in my pocket. I grabbed in and switched it on wishing I hadn't.

This is because I didn't text him back. Oh god he's going to be so angry at me!! I sighed and turned to him and gave him a weak smile he smiled back to my surprise then got up and left. The jerk sat opposite him got up and joined him. Wait he's going?! Just great. I couldn't wait 5 minutes so I turned to Jake and said..

"I need to ask Talon something before he goes, I'll be right back" and then I jumped up and headed outside. The two of them were laughing at something. Talon was leaned back on a wall. I must say he did look really good today which made it hard to not be serious with him.

"Your alive!" He said and hugged me. I looked at him confused.

"You worried me" He said as he held my shoulders and made me look at him.

"I-I'm sorry, something happened last night so I didn't have my phone and then I had to go to the hospital to get Auria's results so I forgot I'm sorry" I explained. He just pulled me closer to him.

"What happened?" He asked worriedly.

"After I left Sky's I started to panic and passed out in the street luckily Jake was there and managed to get to me in time, and then I pretty much just slept the whole evening" I explained. I could see he felt upset over this.

"I knew I should of waited for you" He worried as he let go of me. But I grabbed him arm and pulled him back.

"Hey it's not your fault, I told you to go don't feel guilty" I reassured him. He just filled the gap between us and leaned in and kissed me.

"I'm not letting your out my sight again until I know your safe" He said. I just laughed it off and hugged him, then noticed that jerk was still standing there.

"Oh by the way this is Jack" He introduced me.

"Hi Danni" He said with a smirk plastered on his face. I rolled my eyes and Talon picked up on this.

"What was that for?" Talon asked.

"Nothing" I mumbled. He looked at me then looked at Jack. Jack just laughed.

"What's going on?" Talon asked confused.

"Nothing really me and Danni met the other night, I don't think she likes me" Jack laughed.

"Whatever" I moaned.

"Jack what did you get up to this time?" Talon asked.

"Nothing I just wanted to know who she was" He explained whilst laughing still. Talon just gave him a funny look and then turned back round to me.

"Don't worry about him" He assured me. Then Jake and Chai appeared outside the cafe.

"Took you long enough" Jake moaned staring at the two of us. I shot him a stare to say
Stop but he just laughed at this.

"I'm joking, come on we need to get home" Jake said pulling me back to the car. Talon gave me a smile then walked off with Jack. I turned to Jake and hit his shoulder.

"What's that for?" He laughed.

"You know what's that for" I moaned.
