Chapter 43

"We're home!" Jake shouts as the two boys come through the door. It was still raining and the boys hair was both curled up, and they looked pretty drenched. They placed the bags of takeaway food in the middle of the table then went upstairs to get changed.

"Sweetie I didn't know that she was making you feel like that, I'm so sorry" Mum says. I had explained everything to Mum and told her what Sky was really up to.

"Does Marcus know?" She then asked. I nod.

"Yes, actually when I was at the seafront he was there" I say. Mum laughs.

"You two are very alike!" He laughs back. Then the two boys come back into the kitchen and Jake helps Mum desperate the food into each plate.

"Who's very alike?" Jake asks as he gives me and Mum funny looks.

"Oh nothing for you to worry about dear" Mum replies giving me a wink. I just laugh it off, I knew Talon was thinking the same as Jake. Eventually we all sat round the table together, me and Talon on one side, Mum and Dad on the other and Jake at the side.

"Was it busy out?" Dad asks as he bites into his fist piece of food.

"Not to bad, weather isn't great though" Talon answers.

"I'm surprised you both came back alive and didn't kill each other" I laugh.

"It's not like that buddy is it?" Jake aims at Talon. Talon laughs and nods.

Once everyone had finished, mum got straight on to making some sort of desert for later on. The boys were gunna go into the living room and play some game on the TV, so I decided I wanted a bath.

"I'm gunna go for a bath" I say to Talon as he enters the living room.

"Okay, are you alight!" He asked. I nod and give him a smile to say yes. I head upstairs and into the bathroom and start to run the taps. I have a large basket on the floor filled with bath bombs, creams, bath bars and soaps. All mainly from Lush. I looked through and decided on multi coloured one, to through.

"Ow" I moan as I fall into the floor, everyone is in fits of laughter as I slowly get up from the floor.

"That's actually hard!" I moan at them. We was all playing some game, were we had to pick an item off the floor by only using our mouths and our hands wasn't allowed to touch the floor.

"My go!" Jake shouts as he jumps up and runs over. I sat down on the sofa next to a Talon who had only just stopped laughing. I'm really glad that we did this tonight, I want Talon to feel as if he has a family here for him. Jake manages to do it and mum and dad both cheer.

"Jakes the winner!" Mums says clapping her hands. I roll my eyes and give him a funny look.

"I'm going to take Auria up to bed and then you kids can do what you want, But Dan my special desert should be ready now it's in the fridge why don't you cut some for everyone" mum suggest. Then she makes her way upstairs to Aurias room.

"Who wants some special desert then?" I ask.

"Just cut us all a slice of whatever it is" Jake replies. I nod and head into the kitchen. The kitchen was spotless clean, because mum has to make sure everything is perfect. I open the fridge door and there is a round container sat on one of the handle bits. I grab it place it onto the table. She had made some of her chocolate brownie cake with melted chocolate over the top. I cut everyone a slice by leave mine and Talons in the kitchen.

"I'll eat this then get off, I've gotta work a night shift" Dad explains as I hand him his plate.

"Oh that's a shame, can't you call in sick?" I asked. He laughed and shock his head.

"Dan you don't need me tonight, be be back in the morning" he says. I smile and walk back to the kitchen, Talon follows me.

"The desert looks good" Talon says as he sits on the chair and faces the chocolate cake in front of him. For some reason I wasn't feeling to great in my self so I nod and give him a smile.

"What's up?" He asked.

"Oh nothing"

"Dan tell me?" Talon begged. I guess I just felt down about Sky, I just can't believe she's really gone.

"I guess I just can't get over the fact she's gone" I explained. He sighed and leaned closer to me.

"Call her" He said.

"She's probably annoyed at me, I can't call her this is my fault" I pointed out.

"No this isn't your fault at all, personally I think what what she did to you and Marcus was wrong and it's her fault she drover her self away but I understand how you feel. Your gunna keep beating your self up about it so if you call her at least you can make sure things are okay between you" He explained and then leaned back in his chair.

"Yeah I guess that's a good idea, I'll call her later. Thanks T"

We finished our deserts and decided to go up its been a long day for everyone. Jake was still downstairs talking to Zoë on the phone and watching a film. Mum had gone to bed with Auria.

"Where do you want me to sleep?" Talon asked.

"Well we don't exactly have a spare room apart from downstairs so I guess you'll have to come in with me" I said nicely. He smiled and followed me in. He closed the door behind him and run up behind me and hugged me.

"You seen a spider or something?" I laughed.

"Yeah it's near your bed" He whispered.

"We are near my bed" I laughed back, he just laughed as well.

"I'm gunna go get changed, why don't you look for a film?" I suggested. He nods and he walks over the the shelf on the wall where all my books and films were sat. I grabbed a pair of bottoms and a top and went into the bathroom and got changed.

"Sweet I completely forgot, have you found somewhere for Talon to sleep?" Mum said as I walked past her room. I noticed she had just woken up.

"He can just stay in my room it's no problem" I replied. Mum gave me a funny look but I just laughed and headed back. Talon had put blankets and cushions on the sofa and had picked some film to watch. He was also in some shorts and a lose top. I closed my door and went to join him on the sofa. He cuddled up to me as the film started but after ten minutes I had fallen asleep..
