Malibu had managed to recover after their incident that time ago and Applejack had even helped him to walk again. Rainbow also offered to help stretch his wings, which he was most thankful for. It was great to soar in the clouds again with his best friend who had taken him to the clinic before.

"Hey, Mal, watch this!" Rainbow called, doing a flip in mid air. Malibu grinned until Pinkie's voice came. She wouldn't leave Rainbow alone half the time.

"Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie called, looking up and following the duo. Malibu glanced at Rainbow who had a look of annoyance. "Ugh, Pinkie Pie? Not again!" She moaned, zipping away. Malibu raced after her.

"Why not amuse her for a bit, Rainbow?" He asked, but she shook her head no. "Uh, uh, she'll just keep berating me if I do!" She snapped, not looking where she was flying.

"Rainbow Dash!" Pinkie yelled again. Malibu kept to himself this time when Rainbow replied back. "Not now, Pinkie Pie!"

"But Rainbow Dash!"

"We're in the middle of something!" Rainbow shouted back, flying faster. Pinkie ran. "But Rain-!"

"I said, not now!" Malibu suddenly yelped when a mountain came out of nowhere. "Incoming!" He screamed, colliding into his friend and the two rammed into the side, sliding down to the ground, dizzy. Pinkie finally caught up with them.

"I was gonna tell you guys to look out for that mountain," she revealed. Rainbow and Malibu both glanced at each other before Rainbow let a little moan out, Malibu giving her a knowing look.

....

Fortunately the two only had light bruising, and Malibu found himself back in town, strolling along, sightseeing. Pinkie suddenly appeared in front of him.

"Gah! Pinkie, you scared me!" Gasped Malibu, jumping a foot in the air. "Sorry, just asking if you'd seen Rainbow Dash anywhere? I asked about everypony, even Twilight!"

Malibu spotted her lying on a cloud. "I... think she's up there," he stated, Pinkie smiling and calling for her. Rainbow Dash jerked up, seeing it was Malibu who told Pinkie. She gave him a look and he shrugged apologetically. She then flew very fast away, Pinkie casually hopping after her.

Rainbow tried to find the best hiding spots but Pinkie always seemed to be one step ahead of her, until she landed near the water to catch her breath. Malibu had followed her there, too, a somewhat disapproved look on his face.

"What?" Rainbow asked. Malibu shook his head. "No pony should ignore their friends, Rainbow Dash," he said. Dash moaned. "I know but it is Pinkie Pie, she won't leave me alone!"

Pinkie suddenly appeared out of the water. "I have a favor, Rainbow Dash!" Rainbow tried running but Malibu got her tail, pulling her back. "Ugh, fine..." she mumbled, resting her head on her hoof.

"I totally promise it will be totally fun!" The pink earth pony promised enthusiastically. Malibu smirked at her. "Yeah, it could be fun." She covered her eyes. "Ok..."

....

What Pinkie had in mind was something Malibu never heard of before, not even from his mother called Pranks. Pinkie was surprised when he looked confused. "You don't know what a prank is? It is only the funniest thing ever! Well, to the pony doing it anyway. Just follow my lead and you'll see!" Malibu felt a bit unsure but Rainbow gave him a nudge. She got excited when Pinkie mentioned having fun with pranks.

They decided to test Malibu's reaction to pranks on Spike. He was coming out of the hall carrying some scrolls, humming. Pinkie had Rainbow Dash move a cloud in the correct spot at the entrance before he came out. Pinkie then signaled Malibu to hide. Malibu hid with Pinkie as Rainbow Dash kicked the cloud, a thunder boom startling Spike. He yelped, then began to hiccup non stop. Malibu felt a smile come. It was pretty funny.
