Twilight and Malibu were having another magic lesson day together in the library, with Spike willingly being their test subject.

So far Twilight had beat Malibu with the most spells, and Malibu was an alicorn! But he had to give Twilight credit for being more studied than him since he never read as much as she did.

Now it was Twilight's turn to cast a spell after Malibu's invisibility spell wore off of Spike. He grinned, encouraging Twilight.

"C'mon, Twilight! You can do it!"

Twilight smiled, her horn lighting up. "Ok, here goes!" She shot her magic at Spike, which caused a mustache to appear. The baby dragon grinned.

"Ha ha! You did it! And that makes you the winner! Beating Malibu's spell count with 25 tricks, and Malibu only 22! 25 different tricks Twilight and counting!"

Malibu saw Twilight blush, but he didn't feel jealous, he was happy for her. Spike looked at himself in the mirror. "And I think this is the best trick so far. Hello, Rarity. What's that? Aw, it's nothin', just my awesome mustache!" He chuckled.

This made the teal alicorn roll his eyes at the fact that Spike was still having the hots for Rarity and thought the mustache was going to do the trick. Twilight giggled. "Sorry, Romeo. As attractive and enticing as you look, it's just for practice, and it's gotta go."

Spike covered it. "No, wait!" It disappeared, leaving him disappointed. "Aw, rats..." Malibu came up to him. "Thanks again, Spike for helping us with our magic," he said, grateful. Spike shrugged. "What are friends for?" He asked, still a little upset over his mustache.

Twilight had a way to cheer him up. "How about a quick break? I need to get some shopping items anyway," she said. Malibu thought that sounded great, it was getting stuffy in the library, hence being indoors all morning since coming from the farm. He nodded. "Sounds good to the both of us, Spike?" Spike grinned, following his friends outdoors.

The fresh air felt great on the friend's faces as they discussed how many tricks Twilight was able to do.

"Twenty-five, Twilight. Twenty-five different kinds of tricks and counting. I thought unicorns were only supposed to have a little magic that matches their special talents!" She nodded. "True, for ponies whose talents are for things like cooking or singing or math. But what if a unicorn's special talent is magic?"

"That's an interesting theory, Twi, but there may be unicorns out there who have some other talents other than magic. Look at Rarity, she enjoys fashion more than study magic," he then explained. Twilight smiled at his statement, while Spike continued his banter.

"But with Twilight, her talent really is magic, and you know a ton of magic!" She blushed deeper. "Oh, Spike, stop. I'm sure there are lots of ponies right here in Ponyville that know just as much magic as me. And Malibu knows some, too," she said.

"Malibu's an alicorn though, so that doesn't really count, no offense or anything. I don't think there's another unicorn in all of Equestria with your kind of ability, Twilight!"

Before Malibu or Twilight could reply back, a new voice came, two young ponies racing by.

"Gangway! Coming through!" They ran into Spike. Malibu knew who those two were, meeting them a while back. Snips and Snails.

"Snips! Snails! What's goin' on?" They halted to a stop, Spike falling to the ground. "Haven't you heard? There's a new unicorn in town!" Snails announced.

"What?" Malibu asked. When did this unicorn come by? Snips jumped up and down. "Yeah! They say she's got more magical powers than any other unicorn ever!" Spike shook his head.
