Chapter 18:

• Jordan's POV •

The entire time I was at dinner, I couldn't help but smile.

"Who even is this girl?" My brother asked.

"I met her in Boston" I responded, my grin growing even wider.

"So she's a fan?" He asked. I shook my head.

"She came with her friend" I said. I showed him a picture from our skype call today. She looked so beautiful. I couldn't help but feel proud showing her to him.

"She's hot" he said. My smile faded a bit.

"Hey, watch it" I said, half joking. He shrugged. I don't know why I felt so protective over her.

"Don't worry, I'm not gonna like take her from you or something" he said. Just the thought of that made me angry. I knew it would never happen but just the thought of Eden with anyone else but me made my stomach hurt. "Relax" my brother said, seeing the expression on my face. I laughed it off.

"I know. I just really like her" I said.

"I can tell" he said. That made me smile.

I looked through a few of the responses to my tweet on the ride home. I couldn't stop smiling. I don't think I've stopped since I got in contact with her.

He looks so happy

I am I responded. I thought for a second before I hit send. But I was happy. So I clicked it.

She's so pretty

I agree. I clicked on Eden's profile and saw that she hadn't tweeted anything about it but she did retweet it. She started to gain a few followers and I was happy. I sent her a skype message.

On my way home, skype soon?

Yes. She replied almost immediately. I want to talk to you. That made me smile.

Kennedy's upset
Like really upset
I need to talk to someone

I smiled because I wanted to talk to her just as much she wanted to talk to me. I need to talk to someone. She needed me.

"Hey, can you drive a little faster? Eden needs me" I said, making myself smile.

"Yeah" he said but didn't change his speed. I went back to Twitter and clicked on Kennedy's profile.

Oh okay she had tweeted in response to the pictures. Maybe I shouldn't have tweeted them. I hope she's not upsetting Eden. I don't want her to be upset. Ever.
