"She's upstairs." Nate says letting me in.

I nod and go upstairs. I go in Y/n's room and she sits up.

"Did I wake you up?" I ask.

Don't stay awake for too long, don't go to bed

"No." Y/n says.

"I got you food." I say handing Y/n the bag.

I'll make a cup of coffee for your head

"Thank you." Y/n says.

I smile and kiss her cheek.

Y/n had a seizure in the hallway at school and she was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Y/n only has about 2 more months to live she didn't want to spend them in a hospital.

"Can we do something?" Y/n asks.

It'll get you up and going out of bed

"What do you want to do?" I ask.

"Movie night or something. I just want to spend more time with you before..." Y/n says.

"I wish this was all a bad dream." Y/n says.

"I mean, you say you're feeling better - your doctors think so too. Maybe you'll make it. I hope that you will." I say holding her hand.

"I do too." She says.

Time Skip

"I'll see you guys inside." Cassie says getting out of the car.

"Are you ready to go inside?" I ask as Cassie shuts the door.

Y/n shakes her head and twiddles her thumbs.

"Why are you so quiet?" I ask.

"I haven't been to school in a while. We remember what happened the last time I did go." Y/n says.

Y/n looks in her locker and looks away. She looks in her locker and looks away again.

"What the fuck are you doing?" Nate asks.

She stares at Nate for a few seconds and starts to shake. She falls on the floor and I kneel beside her.

"She's having a seizure!" I say.

Maddy calls 911 and I unzip her jacket.

"Don't fucking record her." Nate says taking the someone's phone.

"If anyone says anything to you, let me know and I'll deal with them." I say.

"I always think about our future because it'll never happen." Y/n says.

"I don't know what I did to be like this but I probably deserve it." Y/n says.

"I tried but no one's perfect." She says ignoring me.
