I see Y/n out the corner of my eye and she walks toward us. She grabs the back of Nate's shirt and pulls him away from me.
"Don't put your fucking hands on her." Y/n says.
But he's rude and he's so cold
"This is none of your business, Y/l/n." Nate says pushing Y/n.

"I'm gonna make it my business." Y/n says.
"You're lucky, real fucking lucky." Nate says walking away.
"You okay?" Y/n asks.
"Y-Yeah." I say.
"I can give you a ride home." She says.
"Thanks." I say.
15 minutes later...
"Can you please not tell anyone about what happened?" I ask.
"Are you serious?" Y/n asks.
"Yes. He was just mad and he had a reason to be. I deserved it." I say.
But she's with him, though
"Any person who has an abusive that partner and makes them feel like they deserve it is brainwashed." Y/n says.
"Y/n." I say.
"Fine, I'll just use it to blackmail him. I will sing like a fucking mockingbird if he pisses me off enough." Y/n says.
I laugh and she smiles.
"You can have my hoodie so your parents don't know." She says reaching in the backseat.
