A bit of a different one, but I'm rewatching it and the rain scene is so adorable. I just thought, imagine if someone was watching them....

"Izzy, are you nearly ready?" I heard my mum call from downstairs.

It was early Sunday afternoon and we had planned to all go on a family walk. That changed as soon as we opened the curtains that morning, it was chucking it down. Proper, British weather.

"Let's try that new restaurant for lunch instead, we don't spend enough time as a family anymore" Mum had said at breakfast. It was true, we didn't all get together as a four much anymore. What with Jackson, my older brother, out practicing all the time and dad always at work.

We had all agreed and I was just brushing my hair at my dressing table when I caught sight of something out the window. My dressing table is right in front of my window. It makes for the perfect light when I get ready in the mornings, but it also means I can spy on the neighbours.

I stood up from my chair to see what it was; a yellow and blue umbrella bobbing along with Nick Nelson underneath it.

I only know Nick because he plays rugby with Jackson most days at school, but I'd never seen him down our road before. I kept watching him curiously as he continued to walk towards the town centre.

Just as I was about to look away I noticed one of our neighbours, Charlie, running out of his house. I was leaning on the window sill now; watching carefully. Maybe Nick had forgotten something?

Charlie ran towards Nick and I watched as Nick turned to face him. They stood underneath the umbrella for a second and I was waiting for an exchange of something that didn't arrive.

All of a sudden I felt like I was watching something I shouldn't be. Charlie looked around as if making sure no one was watching the pair of them stood under an umbrella in the pouring rain. I ducked slightly even though I was almost certain they couldn't see me.

I'd spied on too many people before to not know that no one can see me from this window. Especially when the blinds are still across; which they were. Was I about to see that Nick Nelson was actually doing drugs and this was his dealer; the Charlie I'd known for years and who I thought was as innocent as anything?

"Izzy!" Mum called again
"Coming!" I shouted back, still watching Charlie and Nick.

Charlie put his hand on Nick's face and I quickly knew what was coming, but I couldn't believe it. I watched probably a little too closely with a huge smile on my face. Charlie and Nick were a secret couple?!
