Bella's POV
I leaned back against the chair and crossed my legs as Alice started working on my face. I nervously played with my hands while Alice played around with some make up items, taking turns to use different kinds of brushes on my eyes and cheeks.
Finally, after what seemed like eternity, Alice stated that she was done.
"Yay!" Alice squealed.
I looked up at the mirror and a small smile formed on my lips. "Very natural." I noted.
"Just the way you like it." She announced as if she was serving me dinner. "I'm so excited for you!" She clapped her hands and pulled me up from the chair.
"Me too." I winked. "Thank you so much for the help." I pulled her into a hug and I felt Alice squeeze me a little.
"My pleasure Bella, planning everything was really fun." She grinned.
I looked at the full length mirror in front of me and stared at myself, speechless. I was in a sleeveless maroon dress that went down till an inch above my knee. It was smart yet causal and it fitted my curves perfectly. I smiled as I looked at myself in the dress, I never wanted to take it off.
Today was the most magical day of my life and if nobody had guessed it yet, it was my wedding day.
Yes, Edward Anthony Cullen weds Isabella Marie Swan.
"Edward Anthony Cullen," the minister looked at Edward. "Do you take, Isabella Marie Swan as your lawfully wedded wife?"
Edward looked over at me and replied within a heartbeat. "I do." He couldn't stop smiling at me and I chuckled silently.
"Isabella Marie Swan," the minister turned to look at me. "Do you take Edward Anthony Cullen as your lawfully wedded husband?"
"I do." I confirmed as I kept my eyes on Edward.
"The rings please." The minister said. Alice walked over to me and handed me the ring that had my name engraved inside it while Jasper walked to Edward and gave him his ring.
Edward gently took my right hand and slid the ring onto my finger and kissed my finger before he let go. I smiled as I took his hand in mine and slid the ring on his finger for him.
"I now pronounce you man and wife." The minister announced. "You may now kiss the bride."
Without even wasting a single second, Edward grabbed me by my waist and claimed my lips. I wrapped my hands around his neck and pulled him closer to me as I deepened the kiss. I didn't want to let him go just yet, but I had to keep reminding myself that we were being watched by a huge crowd. I reluctantly loosened my grip on his neck and pulled away slowly.
Edward was grinning as he pulled away too, but his hands never left my waist. He pulled me close to him as we faced the crowd as a married couple.
The ceremony had ended about two hours ago and here I was, getting ready for my honeymoon. Alice and Rosalie had helped me out of my wedding dress and into my going away dress while Emmett and Jasper were with Edward.
Yes, even after 7 years, we were all still together. To add on, Edward and I were the last to get married among the 6 of us. Alice and Jasper were surprisingly the first to get married, followed by my brother and Rosalie a year later. Now, at the age of 25, Edward and I are getting married. It was simply heartwarming to see that all of us stayed with our high school sweethearts.
"It's time to go." Rosalie whispered as she walked over to me. She stroked my hair and I smiled nervously at her.
"Is Edward ready?" I asked her.
Rosalie just nodded and Alice clapped her hands again. Even after 7 years, Alice was still in the habit of behaving like a teenager.
Alice and Rosalie were on either side of me as I left the room and walked down the staircase. My wavy hair was even curlier as it hung down my back because there were like thousands of pins in my hair earlier on. I ran my hand through my hair again, trying to straighten it out but it didn't work. I sighed and gave up, the most glamorous time of the day was over anyway.
When we finally reached the last step, I looked up and saw Edward gleaming proudly at me. I walked over to him with a smirk and hugged him tightly.
"You look amazing." He complimented.
"Thanks." I whispered as I pulled away. "You look dashing yourself." I smiled as I rested my hands on his chest. He was wearing a royal blue button down shirt with black pants and he had his sleeves rolled up till his elbows. His muscles were outlined perfectly by the shirt and I couldn't stop gawking at them till this day.
"It's time to go." Jasper came over to us as he glanced at his watch.
Edward and I nodded as we walked out of the hall, hand in hand. Alice and Rosalie were not with me anymore and before I could even start wondering where they were, I felt rice being thrown at me.
"Oh shit." I muttered, totally forgetting about the wedding traditions. Edward chuckled and held on to my hand tightly as we half ran past our guests who were eagerly throwing rice at our direction.
I shielded my face from the rice attack and safely got to our car with Edward right beside me. I saw Alice then, grinning at me with the rest following right behind her.
"Have fun you two." She smiled as she pulled me into a hug again. Edward man hugged Emmett and Jasper while Rosalie kissed my cheek.
"Have a safe flight." She wished Edward and I as she pulled away from me.
"See y'all love birds in two weeks!" Emmett boomed. "Take care of my sister all right?" He lightly punched Edward on the arm but I knew he was being dead serious.
I laughed and went over to hug Emmett. "I'll be fine." I assured him.
"All right, time to go!" Alice shrieked as she pulled me away from Emmett. Edward gave Alice one last hug before heading over to the driver's seat of our new BMW car.
I got into the passenger's seat and rolled down my windows to bid farewell to everyone gathered around us. Edward started the car and shifted the gear as he looked over at me.
"Ready?" He asked.
"I'm ready." I nodded, smiling. Edward stroked my cheek before turning his attention to the road. He pressed down on the gas and we took off into the dark. I rolled up my windows and let the silence envelope us as we drove down to the airport. Edward reached to take my hand in his as he drove with one hand. I entwined our fingers together and placed our hands on my lap.
I looked out of the window while Edward drove and I couldn't help but smile at the thought of how far we had come, together.
