"Bella?" I heard my favorite voice call my name. I opened my eyes to see Edward staring right at me as he stroked my cheeks.

"It's time to go." He softly stated.

I raised my head and realized that we had finally landed at the airport. I rubbed my eyes and fumbled against the seat, trying to unbuckle my seat belt but a set of cool hands beat me to it.

"I'll take care of it." Edward muttered as he unbuckled me. I slowly got up from my seat and tried not to stumble on my way out of the airplane. My legs were so stiff from sitting down for so long that I immediately stretched as I entered through the arrival gates.

"Welcome to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport." I heard someone with a sweet voice greet me. I faintly smiled at the air stewardess before grabbing Edward's hand. He smiled and kissed my forehead before pulling me with him through the customs.

I was still groggy from my nap in the plane that I didn't understand what was happening around me. I got my passports stamped without paying attention to what the officers were saying to me and met Edward at the baggage claim.

"You look awfully tired." Edward chuckled as he pulled our luggages from the conveyor belt. I helped him carry a bag while he carried two all by himself.

"Kinda had a big day." I smirked at him.

Edward and I walked out of the airport and were greeted by the cool air blowing in our faces. I stayed close to Edward the whole time, worried that I might lose him in the sea of tourists.

"Mr Cullen?" I heard a deep voice call out to Edward.

"Alex?" Edward asked.

"Yes sir." Alex took off his cap and bowed a little to Edward and my eyes widened in surprise.

"Hi." Edward greeted casually with a smile. "This is my wife, Bella." He gestured to me before looking back at Alex.

"Nice to meet you, Mrs Cullen." Alex smiled at me.

"Same here." I smiled back at him. Alex bent down to pick up our luggages and placed them in the trunk of his car. Edward took the bag from me and placed it in the trunk as well.

Edward opened the car door and I got in with him following right behind me. We sat in the backseat but I was in the middle, sitting close to Edward while Alex got into the driver's seat.

"To the hotel, sir?" Alex asked as he looked at Edward from the rearview mirror.

"Yes please." Edward replied.

I slid down my seat and rested my head against Edward's shoulder as I looked out of the window. The city of Port Louis zoomed past us and I enjoyed the scenery as we drove by.

Edward had told me that it was roughly an hour long car ride to our hotel in Mauritius but it didn't seem that long to me as I spent almost every minute staring out of the car window, admiring the city. It was getting darker by the minute and by the time we reached our hotel, it was almost nightfall.

"Welcome to Haute Rive Resort and Spa." A friendly guy wearing a white shirt and a black vest greeted.

"Thank you." I smiled as Edward wrapped his arm around my shoulders and led me into the resort.

The bell hop immediately came to our car and collected our luggages as Edward and I walked in.

"I'll go check us in." Edward said as he kissed the top of my head. I nodded and he let me go, walking away from me as he headed towards the receptionist. I walked around the lobby and ended up at a wide set of doors at the other end.
