Maria and I entered a separate building from the compound. "This is where you and your team will be staying. It has a conference room, surveillance room, living quarters with a kitchen, separate rooms for all of you, an armory, and a garage for vehicles, an office, a bunker, etc." She said as she pointed to the doors that we passed as we walked down the hallway.

After a few tours of the other rooms, Maria opened a door and showed me the conference room.

I looked around and everything looked professional and a bit dark. The people inside then looked over at me and smiled. I then noticed a familiar figure who had his back turned to me.

"Well if it isn't Nick Fury. Death too boring for you?" I asked as he approached me with a smirk.

"The people buried beside my grave thought so." He joked making me smile. Once he got in front of me we shook hands which then ended in a hug.

"It's good to see you learned how to be funny." I said as I pat his back. "It's good to see you out of retirement." He said and we pulled away.

"Boss! Glad you made it." Jack Dalton said as he went over to me and immediately hugged me. He's the brawns in our team which was reassuring since he's a former Delta Force soldier and CIA operative.

"I see you've put the team back together." Gisele Yashar said making me pull away from Jack and hugged me too. She is also what I call the spy in our team since she was a former Mossad and CIA agent.

"Nice to see you again Y/N." Ria Torres, another student of my mentor Cal, and another natural when it comes to micro expressions greeted me as she extended her hand. I pulled away from Gisele and shook Ria's hands.

"Toby. I'm glad you could join." I said as I looked over to Toby Curtis a Harvard-trained psychiatrist that is an expert in human behavior. He's the behaviorist in our team and alerts us of any suspicious characters.

"Of course boss. Me being able to watch people and read them without consequences has always been fun. Also, they're willing to pay us a lot." He said making the others roll their eyes at him while I just smile.

"I'm glad you're doing this instead of using your talents in gambling. It's nice to see all of you. But where's Riley?" I asked and they all pointed over to the table.

I then looked over and saw Riley hunched over her laptop which hid her from me. She then raised her left hand while her right hand was busy typing something on her laptop. Riley Davis is our computer systems expert and is also a skilled hacker. She's the one who shows us everything if needed.

"She's been like that ever since we came here which was an hour ago." Jack said as I approached Riley who was still busy.

"Hi, boss. Nice to meet you again but I'm kind of busy right now." She said and I smiled as I walked over behind her to see what she was doing.
