Act 5: Various Communicative Samples

Search for Ted Talks on youtube. Watch and observe how the speaker communicate. After watching, write 250-words essay of your objective observation and evaluation of the speaker you watched and listen.

* What is the topic of the speaker?
* What are your good observation on how he delivered the topic?
* What are the negative of your observations?
* How do the speaker communicate with his audience?
* What are the things you learned from the speaker?

> The topic of the speaker is all about grit. Grit is the power of passion and perseverance for every long term goals. Grit is having strong stamina. Grit is sticking with your future, day in and day out, not just for the week and not just for the month, and working really hard to make that future or dream a reality. Grit is living like it's a marathon, not a sprint.

My good observations on how she delivered the topic is that she has a good knowledge and learnings about her topic. She gave so many examples and experiences about her topic. She gave so wonderful lecture about grit and building your grit. The speaker communicate with her audience by moving a bit, be comfortable, and keeping an eye contact to her audience and viewers. She delivered her topic by not stuttering and she explained and gave a good examples so that her audience will understand the topic really well.

The things that I'd learned from the speaker are, we need to work smart, focus on deliberate learnings and keep your eyes on the goals or aims you want to achieve. Getting a growth mindset is something we all can achieve to eventually develop grit. Learn to appreciate and give praise the people, students, and children around you for struggling through solving a problem, rather than appreciate and praise them at the end of result. They will feel a sense of accomplishment and appreciation as they go through problems, and they will understand that struggle and hardship is part of the success.
