I woke up to the sound of Shawn crying. I rolled over seeing that it was three in the morning. Fuck.
I crawled out of the bed picking him up seeing the tears glistening on his cheeks from the light of the moon cascading light onto him.
"Hey." I whispered. "Why are you crying?" I asked bouncing him lightly. He kept sobbing and sobbing and I figured he went potty. I smirked feeling devious. Earlier Ryder had used up all the hot water so now I am giving him pay back.
I brought Shawn's little booty to his up to his nose and Ryder snored away. I tapped his shoulder which he woke up to and bumped his nose. "Oh my fuck." He groaned moving away from the stench. I snickered as he looked up at me giving me a glare.
"So is it a number one or two." He glared at me and said nothing. I looked at him still waiting on an answer. "Number tow." He murmured pissed off. I smiled backing away and went over towards Shawn's changing station.
I began cleaning him up while he stopped crying and I felt Ryder standing behind me.
"Was it really necessary to put his ass in my face." "Was it necessary for you to take a thirty minute shower with the little amount of hair you have on your head." He swattered my behind and I laughed more.
"Shut the fuck up." He grumbled going back towards the bed. I lifted the baby off of the changing bed and grabbed his pacifier and brought it to his lips. I began rocking him to sleep singing a little lullaby to him and after five minutes he was passed out once again.
I gently placed him back inside his crib with blanket draped over him. I crawled back into my bed with Ryder. He yawned bringing me closer to him. "I guess I can check off my list for having a baby's ass in my face." "That you can." I chuckled.
"So when are we going back to my parents house?" He asked. I shrugged, "Maybe next month." "You said that a month ago." I looked down starting to feel bad. Ryder lifted my chin to look up at him.
"You know soon your parents are going to get sick and tired of hearing us argue along with hearing the baby cry." "My parents may get annoyed with hearing us bickering but they will not get tired of hearing Shawn cry." "Okay, okay. But Alex," "Yes Ryder?" I asked. "We need to go back to my parents house." I nodded my head.
"And I swear you'll still get to see your parents still." I nodded my head. "Hell I'm sure they would love if your family comes over one a week or we go over here once a week just to have a dinner and visit." I nodded my head agreeing.
"How weird is it to think the baby is two months now?" I asked. "It's pretty weird." Ryder stated truthfully.
"We've been parents for two months." Ryder smiled down at me. "And the best ones as well." I gave a cheesy smile and cuddled closer to him. "I love you." I mumbled into his bare chest. "And I love you." He said planting a kiss to my temple.
