Chapter 55

"So where are they?" "They should be here, I mean I texted her to be here before it hit twelve thirty." I groaned and threw my head back. "You should have told her eleven thirty, babe."

At a table of six only four have arrived. I scanned everyone and saw an uncomfortable looking Destiny. Though she was in total discomfort I couldn't help but gaze at her, she's fucking beautiful, prettier than me let me tell you that. I glanced over at a pissed off looking Glen. Obviously he is not used to Jen and her tardiness. I rolled my eyes and checked my phone.

Still no reply from her, like always.

My stomach grumbled when I smelt the aroma of all the tasty looking foods the waiters were carrying to the tables around us.

"Still waiting on two?"

My attention was brought back when I looked up to our waiter Greg, sassy looking holding his notepad.

"Yeah-" "No we're ready." I countered back. I am not going to fucking starve because she is probably having a quickie in the back of her car.

Ryder turned his eyes over toward me shocked. Usually I am the patient one in the relationship, but not today. I just want to eat browse around and get home. My thighs are chaffing, it is so stuffy in this place- I just need to leave let's say.

"You sure Jen will be fine with us eating without her?" Ryder mumbled. "I am not in the mood for her shenanigans. I just want to hurry this day up." I grumbled back.

I shut my menu knowing what I was going to order.

Glen and Destiny began to say what they were ordering while Ryder and I waited for our turn.

Under the table I could feel Ryder grab my hand and squeeze, the gesture made me smile.

I looked up at him and pecked his cheek. Cute little shit.

"And for you ma'am-"

"Oh my gosh there you guys are!" I groaned and mentally rolled my eyes.

"Glad you could finally make it." I fake squealed scooting over. "Wouldn't miss hanging out with the gang for anything."

"Well you came just in time, we were just about to order." Ryder said with annoyance.

"Oh well I know what I am getting." Jen said clasping her hands together.

I sighed, maybe today won't be so bad at all.

"Ma'am?" I looked up at the waiter who was still sitting patiently. I began to order when Jen cut me off.

"That's not what you usually get." "Well maybe today I wanted to change it up-" "But we always share our food." "Yes but- Jen look, I'm not just feeding for one anymore. I have another person in my body also." "Then what am I supposed to get?"

You've got to be fucking kidding me.

"Just share with Brian." "But you always get the pizza and I always get the mini burgers with cheese sticks on the side." "Well today I was feeling a sandwich-" "You don't ever order a sandwich!" I huffed annoyed. "Jen I'm sorry, I just am not feeling up for greasy foods today. My body can't take it at the moment." Jen frowned but nodded.

"Alright well since that argument is over, how is everyone doing?"

I need a break. My feet are killing me and with the amount of clothes in my arms I feel like I am going to die.

"Can we take a break?" I asked plopping down on a stool. "Oh honey but we're just getting started."

No one told me that today everyone just decided to go school shopping. I shouldn't even be here, I mean hell I'm being home schooled! I thought today was just be social and buy a few things here and there, not fucking buy the whole store.

"Don't you think you two have enough clothes from this store?" I questioned the two girls.

"I've only got half of what I wanted from here." Destiny piped up.

And this, ladies and gentlemen, is why I like online shopping.

"I'll be outside if you need me." I said glaring at both girls. I am tired of shopping here at this stupid mall. Almost every teenage girl in this damn place has either made a comment about my pregnancy or has starred at me.

I get it, really. Not many teenage pregnant girls go shopping- dragged to go shopping- trust me, I know.

I pulled out my phone annoyed and texted Ryder.

-I want to go home

I waited for a few seconds until I got a reply.

-the boys and I are almost done. How are you and the girls?

- I left.

After I sent that message I got a phone call right away.

"What in the fuck do you mean you left?"

"I just went outside don't worry."

"Babe you shouldn't be alone, what if something happens to you- like the baby! What if your water broke!"

"Obviously I'd call you, it's not like those two would notice if it broke."

"You're being ridiculous, look just go back with them." Ryder demanded.

"And if I don't?"

"Oh don't start this shit with me."

"What am I starting?" I questioned innocently.

I know what I am doing, and I know how much of a bitch move it is- but I don't care.

I have no need to be here buying "school clothes," I am getting tired of everything right now. I just want to go home.

"You're being ridiculous Alex-"

"Look I just want to go home."

"But I'm not even done shopping!"

I sighed. I'm being such a horrible person.

"Can you just tell me which store you're in? I can just drive home and pick you up when you're ready."

"No, no if you really want to go home I can take you-"

"No you are having guy time, I had my girl time, I'll just get the keys from you."

"But you're pregnant-"

"There are lots of pregnant women driving at my size, I'll be fine babe. Just for you I'll drive extra careful."

I could hear the defeat in Ryder's voice but he did give in.

"Just drive careful, alright?"

" I will."

"Promise?"

"I promise."
