Miles Teller as Ryder Colt. I picture Miles as Ryder because in movies he acts sometimes like a jackass but then again caring and that's what I think of Ryder. Enjoy. "So how was the doctors." My mom questioned cutting into her steak. "It was good, the baby was healthy which makes me happy." I said stuffing my mouth with Mac N' Cheese.

I looked around the table making sure no one was watching me be a slob. Ryder was seated next to me. I turned his way and blushed embarrassed. He was looking down at me smirking.

I swallowed and began to spoke, "You didn't see that did you?" "Hmm do you mean watching you spoon a whole chunk of Mac N' Cheese in your mouth count?"

I looked away mortified.

"But yeah today went great." I said to no one in particular. "So you're seven months as of today?" My dad questioned. I nodded my head wiping my mouth with a napkin. "Do you have any sort of plan what's going to happen when he arrives.

"Well Ryder and I will be staying with Ryder's parents when he arrives." "School wise Alex." "Um." I trailed off.

"Alex, we know you want to finish high school, and so do we, but maybe you should think about home schooling." "But what about graduation."

"We can have our own at home. I know it means so much since it'll be your senior year but you're going to have a baby and a baby is a big responsibility." My mom said. I nodded my head understanding.

"So Alex will be doing home school." Ryder said with sadness in his eyes. "I'm afraid so son." My dad said.

We all finished our meals in quiet.

"God this sucks." Ryder said sprawled across my bed. I sighed and swiveled in my computer chair and faced him. "It's not so bad. I mean you're still going to see me everyday."

"Yeah but I won't be able to see you smiling and laughing at school." I chuckled. "You'll still see me smiling and laughing here at home. Plus you'll see a smiling and laughing baby." I said crawling on the bed.

I laid across Ryder's stomach.

"It won't be the same." "Course it won't, we'll be a little family." I stated. Ryder snorted and rubbed his face in his hands.

"You think I'll be a good dad?" "Ryder that's like me questioning if I'll be a good mom. We're going to be the best that we can be." "God why are you so perfect?"

I laughed out loud.

"Babe I am far from perfect." "Oh now you're just lying. You know what to say, how to act. And here I am. A massive fuck up."

I looked up at Ryder. He looked so upset, so torn.

"Why are you saying nonsense about yourself." "Because it's the truth." He said blandly. "It's so not." I taunted back. "Alex I didn't even believe you when you told me I got you pregnant. I went so low and accused you of sleeping with other another man." I looked up at the ceiling remembering.

"It's in the past." "Babe I don't care what I did before was so fucked up and cruel in so many ways- I just fuck. I'm sorry. I'm sorry for everything I put you through and what I will."

I turned to my side and saw how sincere Ryder looked. "Forgive me." He muttered in a baby voice.

I crawled on top of his chest and mouthed, "I forgive you." And pecked him on the lips.
