Picture of the one and only Andrea Russett as Alex. Enjoy.

Staring off into space I felt bored. Today was taking longer then it usually does when I am at the doctors.

Jen and I are both sitting here bored, well I don't know about her. She's just sitting on her phone texting non stop.

Ryder couldn't come in with me today so Jen volunteered for mine and Shawn's seventh month appointment.

"God what's taking so long." I questioned to no one in general. I looked over at Jen and watched the way she typed vigorously on her phone.

"Jen." Nothing.

"Jen." I said a little bit louder. Still nothing.

I scooted closer to her ear and she didn't even flinch.

"Jen!"

"Ah what!" She screeched.

"Hi." I said scooting away. "Hi? Hi! Is that all you have to say!" She said giving a murderous glare.

"Who are texting." I said smirking sliding my hand to her phone. I snatched it and got up as fast as I could away from her hands. I wobbled around in circles and laughed looking at her texts.

"Oh Bryan you're so silly. Yeah but you're cute." I read the texts over snickering to myself.

"Give that back." She said getting a grip on her phone. Jen snatched her phone back into her hands and put it away.

"My phone, my texts." "Why so secretive?" "I'm not." "Okay sure. Anyways when were you going to tell me you and Bryan were texting buddies?" I questioned.

"Soon-" "Not soon enough." I said plopping down into the uncomfortable chairs.

"I really was Alex, I was just waiting for the perfect time."

I rolled my eyes in response.

"I won't judge you if you are talking to him." I said in seriousness. "Alex don't act like that. Besides I don't go and look through your texts with Ryder."

"Trust me you wouldn't want to."

"Alex Summers." Jen said smacking my arm. I snickered. "He may be an ass sometimes but let me tell you, he has some kinks." "Ew Alex!"

"Miss Summers." "It's show time." I said to Jen.

I got up from the chair and made my way to the nurse.

"My my you've gotten big." The nurse said glancing down at my stomach. "I know, he won't stop growing." I said looking down at my big belly.

"Oh don't worry, he's going to get bigger." "Yeah I can't wait."

Jen followed along behind me still speedy fingers typing away.

"Here we are ladies." The nurse said stopping at door.

"Thanks." I said grabbing Jen's hand.

Jen followed along behind me while we walked into the tiny office.

I sat in my usual spot while Jen sat where Ryder usually does.

I looked around patiently at the bland walls like I always do. Every time I come in here I get anxious and jittery hoping the baby is okay. I mean I think almost every mother is like that but it is a habit of mine.

"Ah Miss Summers." "Doctor." I greeted back. "You're looking very vibrant today." "Thanks Doc." I said smiling.

"And my have you got bigger since last month." I smiled in satisfaction knowing that my son is growing a little more each time.

"Soon we won't even have to say you're growing, we'll just say how big of a boy he is."

"That we are."

"Have you been feeling alright?" "I mean my feet are starting to get sore but other than that I'm doing not too shabby. Oh except I need to take breaks more often."

"Seems about accurate. The eighth month will feel the same, maybe a little more drowsy if you're already not. And by the ninth you'll want the little stinker out."

I nodded understanding.

"Alright well let's check how the little guy is doing."

I lifted my top getting ready for the cold blue gel to be splattered all over my belly.

The coldness came and I held my breath. After awhile it does start to feel good. It just takes time like getting into a pool.

"There's his head." The doctor pointed out.

I looked over at the monitor and heard all the rumbling happening in my belly.

There he was looking cute as ever all curled up.

"He's going to be a big boy if you haven't noticed." I laughed but nodded.

"I guess you could say he gets it from his dad."

Ryder stands at six foot and two inches. Tall and proud let me tell you.

"His heartbeat is sounding normal."

I nodded and listened carefully.

*Thump. Thump. Thump. Thump.*

"Well Miss Summers if have to say you've got a pretty healthy baby in your body." He said handing me paper towels.

"I shall see you next month." He said smiling. "Thanks doc." "Take care Miss Summers."
