Well Jen and I were both wrong. I'm not on my period and it's been three days. I think I missed my period. On top of that I've had the stomach flu for like what two days.

"Hey Jen." I mumbled into the phone. "Still feeling sick?" "Um yeah." "I'll come over but first I'm going to the store. Don't hate me for what I'm going bring over." "What is it." "Don't worry I'm only buying it for the safe side."

Twenty minutes later Jen pulls up with a bag full of... Pregnency tests! "Jen why on earth did you buy those! My brothers are home and if they see those they'll-" "Tell your mom I know. That's why we're going to say there for me. Now come on! We don't have all day!' She said running up the stairs. "Lock all your doors, shut your window curtains because we're gonna piss on some sticks my friend!"

Jen said pulling out four jugs of water. After five sips of water I had to go. "Give me a stick I'm going pee!" I was about to shut the door but it got stuck by a foot. "You can pee in front of me I'm like your sister." "Um okay. Then come on in." I started peeing on the stick and looked up to see my best friend looking right at my vagina peeing on the stick. "After you, I'm so peeing on a stick!" "You're a freak!"

After eleven sticks with my urine on them and two sticks with Jen's urinr on them we had gone through all the pregnancy tests. Jens were both negative while six of mine were positive and five negative. "Maybe we should go to the doctor." "But isn't my mom supposed to call? And won't she find out!" "Not if you make an appointment yourself and have them call your cell phone and remind you and talk to your doctor for them to keep their mouth shut." "Okay..."

I called and made an appointment for tomorrow at four pm. "And don't worry Alex you won't be alone I'll be I there with you and if they try to kick me out I'll tell them to fuck off." She said patting my shoulder. This is going to be a long weekend.

Today is the day. Today is officially the day to see if I'm not pregnant. I have an hour to go pick up Jen and head off to the doctors. "Mom I'm going to the movies!" "What movie Hun?" "Oh you know.... the new Monsters Inc. movie." "Oh how fun maybe Chance would love to join." "Um no!... He can't!" "And why not?" "It's a girl day." "So you can have some sibling time and you know Jen is apart of the family too." This bitch. "Mom I'm not supposed to say this because it's not my business to share but Jen just got through a bad break up and she invited me so I need to support her and I don't think a twelve year old will help our situation. Plus I'm sure Chance would rather go to the skate park!" "Oh honey tell Jen I'm sorry and maybe you're right! Alright have fun sweetie and don't stay out too late!" And with that I'm out.

"Finally you're here. Come on we need to hurry up to your appointment girl!" "Sorry that I have a nosey mom. Oh and by the way if you come over you went through a bad break up and the movie was great."

When we got to the doctors I didn't realize how much of an adult I had to be. Give them my health card. My license. Sign paperwork. Geez being an adult sucks. "Alex Summers." A nurse yelled. "Get up Jen my name was called." I nudged her. "Oh yeah uh huh be there in a minute. I grabbed her hand and dragged her. Her and that phone man.

"Hi Alex I'm Doctor Nelson. And you came here because-" 'She wanted to see if she was pregnant." Jen piped in. "Right. And it says here that a month ago was the last time you were sexually active." "Yes sir." "And you started getting the feeling you were pregnant because.." "I missed my period and I was sick to my stomach." "Right." Geez can this guy be more caring..

"So lets go get you a urine cup for you to use the restroom. Shall we?" Dr. Nelson got a large cup with a lid on top of it and gave me it. "Here you go. The bathroom is down the hall on the left." "Um thanks." I said grabbing Jen's hand. "I'm glad you grabbed my hand because I needed to pee also!" Jen said running to the ladies room.

Five minutes later with my pee cup in Dr. Nelson's hand he was testing my piss (weird) to see if I had a little baby inside of me. "Miss Summers do you want the good and bad news?" "Yes please." "Well I don't know how you'll see it but you are indeed pregnant missy and you are three weeks." He said smiling. "Uh thanks for telling me doc." I said giving a sad smile.

I'm pregnant. My parents are going to kill me and by the looks of it so is Ryder.

"Hey it's okay Alex. I know it's going to be hard but I'll be here for you." What are my parents gonna say?" "What's Ryder gonna say?" "Um Jen I think I'm going to keep this a secret from him." "Whoa Alex I agree with what your parents are gonna think but Ryder not knowing! Come on I thought you were smarter than that!" "What do you mean?" "He helped make it also. It takes two to tango. You were a moaner and he didn't cover his boner! Babe Ryder has a right to know about it also." "But it's not like he'll care. He will probably laugh in my face and say it's worthless also." I stammered with tears trailing down my face.

I heard the door click open and saw Dr. Nelson walk in. "Awkward timing? Should I leave?" "No it's fine you can come in." "So I wanted to plan your next appointment and what phone number I should call to check up on you." I gave him my cell and we planned a date. "So you're sure you don't want your parents to know?" Yeah I'll just tell them myself." "Okay and Alex?" "Yes?" "It's not the end of the world everything will be fine in the ending." He gave a reassuring smile.
