lol who needs guys when you can wattpad.
Ryder's Pov:
I walked back to where the guy's were at and carried on with my shopping.
"What was the hold up?" Glen asked eyeing a shirt. "Alex just wanted to get out of here. But she knew I needed to shop so I gave her the keys to the car." "Speaking of Jen just texted me that on the news a pregnant girl just got hit." Brian said panicked looking at his phone.
"What?" i asked panicked. I grabbed my phone and Alex's number. "Please pick up. Please pick up." I mumbled to myself stressed.
I threw my phone on the ground frustrated.
"She's not answering." I yelled to the guys. "It says it happened down the street." Brian said reading his phone screen. I walked out of the mall needing to calm down. "She's fine, it wasn't her." I kept repeating to myself.
I pushed the entrance doors to the mall open needing fresh air.
"Hey man everything will be fine." Glen said catching up to me. I shook my head. "She's hurt. I know it." I finally admitted.
I blew out an air of breath and paced around. "Give me your car keys." I demanded. "What no!" Glen said. "Give your god damn keys man! I need to check!" I yelled in his face.
"Look dude, I trust you and all but let me drive. I don't need you getting hurt as well." Glen said.
We began running towards his car.
She needs to be alright. The baby- the baby!
"Fuck!" I yelled slamming my fists against his dashboard. Glen didn't make a comment but only drove faster. We drove by the accident and my heart shattered.
My car, it was completely trashed. She was hit.
"Stop the car." I told Glen. "Dude I can't." Glen answered back. "I said stop the fucking car!" I roared. The car came to a halt and I jumped out.
Police men filled the whole area of the accident. I sprinted to my car but was pushed back by an officer.
"That's my car-" I yelled. "Where is she!" I questioned. I put my hands in my hair and tried to calm my breathing.
"Did you know the victim?" One officer asked me. "She was- she is my girlfriend." I sputtered out.
"Is she okay? Is she alive? Where is she!" I threw questions around to anyone that was willing to answer them.
"Son she'll be alright. She's going to the hospital now." One man answered. "Do you know if the baby is okay?" I asked hopeful.
The officer didn't answer me but looked at me.
"Go to the hospital now is all I can say."
I booked it to the hospital immediately. Alex needs to be alright and God dammit so does Shawn Brady! Glen drove away while I sat in the passenger seat fidgeting the whole time.
The twenty minute drive felt like hours. My heat was bbeating out of chest and I couldn't think straight. The only thing going through my mind was the baby. Is he okay? Is he alive? Will he make it if it he is alive?
"Here you get out here I'll find a parking space." Glen said. I nodded and sprinted not caring about the looks I was getting.
I really need to call her parents and let them know she got hurt.
I ran into the breathless not stopping until I made it to the check in. "Hi Alex Summers." I said too fastly. The lady at the computer started typing things and looked up at me. "Third floor, room 316-" "Thanks!" I yelled running to the elivator. I waited for about a minute and got impateint.
I need to see her now.
I opened the door for the stairs and booked it up the steps. Gladly nobody was walking up the steps because I'll be honest, I fell a couple of times. I reached the last set thanking the lord because I don't think my legs can handle anymore. I opened the door and marched my way to room 316.
I opened the door in shock to see Alex unconscience.
"Is she alright?" I asked the doctor pulling a seat. "Yes but at the moment you are going to have to leave." The doctor spoke looking down at me. "Why?" I asked irritated. "Well we are going to have to enduce her labor-" "You mean she's having him now." "I'm afraid so, so please will you exit the room." He said looking me up and down. "I'm her boyfriend, the father of her son." I said standing up. The doctor and sighed. "She will wake in a few, we'll ask if it is alright if you are in here as well." I nodded my head watching the doctor walk out. I grabbed my phone and dialed Alex's parents number.
"Hello?" "Hey. Uh look Alex is in the hospital-" "Oh my god! Is she alright! What happened-" "Look I'll explain it later. Just come down here because little Shawn is coming soon." I said into the phone. "He's what!" Alexis's mom yelled. I pulled the phone back and cringed. "Look just get down here. She's in room 316 third floor." I said into the phone. "Okay we'll be there shortly." She said and hung up.
I dialed my mom's cell and she answered on the second ring. "Hey." I said into the phone. "Hey is everything alright." "Alex's having the baby soon." I sputtered out. "What! Now?" "Yeah so get down here, she's in room 316 third floor." I said and hung up.
I'm going to be a dad.
I'm going to be a fucking dad.
