Threats Can Only Do So Much Pt. 2

A/N--- This part gets really emotional. Just a little warning.    

Nathan's POV

 I want to go out with Kayla tonight. Screw the fact that Shawn might be out there. He doesn't even know where we could go. "Kayla?" I asked. She seemed to be staring out of space and I snapped her out of it. "Yes?" She said. "Wanna go out today? Anywhere?" I asked. "Not counting the clubs."  

"Okay. Got any places in mind?" She asked. "Movie?" I asked. Come to think of it, seeing a movie is the one thing we haven't done together. "Good idea! What do you want to go see?" She asks. "We'll see when we get there." I shrugged. "Okay then!" She said.

Kayla's POV

 That last text from Shawn got me thinking. "You were warned." What the fuck could that mean? I mean, i know what it 'means' but, it's got me in a whirlwind. What could happen tonight? I regret ever having anything to do with him. My mind was telling me to leave him as SOON as he got abusive. But no, I stuck around and left when it was...too late, you could say. Because I can bet, if I had just left earlier, this bullshit wouldn't have happened and I wouldn't be fearing for mines, Nathan's, EVERYONE'S safety. Shawn is more dangerous and even i'm not even sure of what all he's capable of. Shawn could be anywhere, at anytime. And I may not know it. And you know what's weird? Mariah of all people didn't even know. Everytime she was around, Shawn told me to act normal, as if nothing ever happened. Soon as she left the room though, his demeanor changed completely. My life became perfect when Shawn was out of my life. I almost considered having my name changed so Shawn would have no chance of ever finding me again. I kinda regret not changing my name right now, though. But tonight, who cares? i'm going out with my favorite guy, and we are gonna have a good time. Shawn wants to play dirty, let's play dirty.

                                         Time Has Passed...About 1 hour later

Nathan's POV

 "Come on Kayla let's get ready. And I call the bathroom first!" I said, running to it. "Shit! Ok Sykes you get the bathroom this one time." Kayla said. "About time I get it for once." I said proudly. "Whatever Sid." I heard her say before stepping into the bathroom. ............... When I get out, I throw my clothes on and Kayla goes in and takes her shower. She comes out and throws on her clothes as well. "Well, let's go." I said. "Let's go." she said. "Ooh where you two going all dolled up?" Max said. "Movie. Don't wait up." Kayla said. "Have fun you two!" He said. And with that, we left.

Kayla's POV

 As we're in the car, Nathan's eye keeps drifting off to me. "What's wrong? Something on your mind?" I said. "Not at all. Just admiring your beauty." He said. "With all the scars of my past, I don't see how you see any beauty." I murmured under my breath. I think he may have heard me. "I love you, scars and all. And don't you ever think otherwise." He said. Not taking his eyes off me for the rest of the trip, we managed to get to the theater without crashing into something. We check what's available for today and we see nothing we like. "Well this is just great." I said. "It's not all bad. At least i'm here with you." Nathan said, his eyes glowing bight. I never noticed how bright his eyes get. We stood there for a good 5 minutes, till it started pouring rain. "Shit!!! I'm all wet!!" I yelled. "I've always wanted to do this." he said. "Do wha-"

I was cut off by Nathan's lips kissing mine. "Kiss you in the rain." He said when we pulled away. I could barely see and I'm pretty sure Nathan couldn't either. We run out to the street to get to the car and the next thing I know, I see bright lights coming towards me. I'm thrown ahead and I start rolling onto the street. I hear an abrupt crash and and scream. I run to the scream and I stop short.

"NATHAN!!!!!!!!!!"

A/N--- Oooooh, cliffhanger!! Yeah, i leave you guys with a cliffhanger, cause i'm just awesome like that. Who was driving the car? Was that accident...really an accident? Will Nathan be ok? All will be answered in the next part.
