Kayla's POV

I awake in a hospital bed. "Nathan? Nathan!!!!" I start yelling frantically. A doctor rushes in the room. "Darling what's the matter?" He asked. "Where's Nathan!!" I yell. "Nathan..." he said blankly. "Nathan Sykes you dunce!!" I said. "Okay love just be calm. He's in the hospital room a few doors down." He said, pointing to the left. "Let me out!! I want to see him!!" I yell, trying to get out of bed. He pushes me back down, trying to keep me calm. "I can't do that. You see, the reason you're in here is because you fainted last night after Nathan got hit by a car. You ran to help him and you fainted and when we tried to get you up, you weren't breathing." He said. "Let me see Nathan. Now." I said. "Okay, if you must. But i have to escort you there and back." He said. "I don't care, i just want to see him." I said with dread. He led me to the room and we pushed open the door. "He's delicate so be gentle." The doctor whispered. "Nath, baby are you okay?" I asked, near tears. "I'm fine. Just, some broken bones." He tried to sit up. "It's my fault isn't it..." I said. "No not at all Kayla. We were running and I guess I just threw you out of the way without thinking. The only reason your in here is because-"

"Because i fainted i wasn't breathing when they tried to get me up." I cut him off. 

"Yeah, that's why." He said softly. Pretty soon I hear fast footsteps coming towards the room. Tom, Siva, and everyone are here. They all walked in, and were speechless. "What the hell happened??" Siva was the first to talk. "Well, last night when me and Nathan went to go see a movie, we didn't see anything we wanted to see." I started. "It started raining, and i mayyy have kissed Kayla in the rain, trying to be romantic" Nathan said. That last part made us both blush. "And when we tried to run to the car, a car hit Nathan. I fainted soon after and I wasn't breathing." I said. Now everyone was here. "Damn. Who the hell could have done this?" Max spoke up. "I've got some ideas." I murmured. "Well, who?" Jay said. How the fuck could he have heard that? I said that so low Nathan couldn't hear it and I was standing right next to him. "Shawn." I said low. "I'm sorry, who?" Siva asked. "Shawn. He had a reason to." I said louder. "This little son of a bitch!! Where the fuck is he! I swear i'll-" Tom said, getting mad and turning red. "Mate calm down. Let her finish." Max said. "Anyway, he had a motive because he's been texting me harass notes since a few days ago. Only Nathan knew about them but even he doesn't know about this one." I said.

"He texted me yesterday and made me an offer. Told me either go with him and leave you guys, or stay with you guys, but there would be consequences. and he didn't say what type of consequences. I told him I was gonna stay with you guys and I bad mouthed him a bit, and all he replied back was, "You were warned." " i finished. "That little BITCH!!" Siva yelled. "Damn. I've never seen that side of you before, Siva." I said with surprise. "Well, i'm mad. It happens." He said. "Yeah, it's not the first time he's blew up like that." Jay said. "Boys. This accident, Wasn't an accident." Nathan said. "He's right. This wasn't a reckless act of driving. Someone meant to hurt him. Possibly kill him." Max said pointing at Nathan. We all stared at each other in disbelief. "Shawn wanted you dead. So he could get to me easier." I said. "With you out of the picture, I was a easy target and so were you boys." I said, pointing at Nathan then myself, then the guys. "We need to tell the police." Jay said. "And tell them what? It's his word against ours." I said coldly. "Well then, what the hell do we do now?" Siva asked. That was the ultimate question. What the hell do we do now.
