Boutique Life

Kayla's POV

I got up to change my clothes. I said goodbye and left. I was in hurry.

There are all kinds of stores here. But the tough part is, which ones are hiring? I wanna work at a place where I can design things, because that's my major. I love to design clothes, jewelry, lots of things. I always designed as a little girl, but no one ever really 'saw' the designs. My eyes caught a boutique. There wasn't a sign that said they were hiring, but it was worth a shot to try.   I walked in, and a lady greeted me. "Hello. I'm Jenny, how may I help you?"   

"I would like a job here. Are you hiring?" I asked hopefully. "Oh sorry hun. No jobs available." Then the phone started ringing. "Let me take this... Marie's Boutique, how may I assist you?" She asked in a cheery tone. "Mmm hmm, yeah it's okay. Okay, bye." She hung up. "Good news hun! Job just opened up. How would you like to work over the counter here?" she asked. "I would love to! Thank you." I said. "Good then, your hired." she said. "You start in one hour." She said. "Ok, and is there any, like, uniform I have to wear?"   "Nope. What your wearing is good." she gestured to my clothes. "Ok then, see you in an hour." I said, and left. Yayy!! Look at me, I got a job. Gotta tell someone. Nath, perfect.

"Hey Nath, I just got a job! Can you believe it?!"

"That's awesome! Hope you do good. Xx -Nath"

Good, so he's happy for me. I should probably go and look around the store to find my way around. I made my way around the store and back. "Kayla! We open in a minute, you should get in here!" Jenny called. I ran in the door and got to my spot. We got a costumer pretty quick. "Hello, welcome to Marie's boutique. I'm Kayla, how may I help you?" I asked in a cheery tone. This should be easy. "Yeah I would like a bouquet of 8 red roses, make two of those pink." The guy said. "Coming right up! Gimmie just a few minutes" I said and ran into the back room. I got 6 red roses, 2 pink roses, cut their stems, and put them in a vase with water. "Here you go sir." I said and handed him the roses. "Thanks miss." he said and left. "Jenny appeared out of the bathroom and asked, "How was your first costumer?"      "Pretty good actually. So when is it time to go?" I asked. "6:00."   This is gonna be a good job.   It was 3:00 now, so we didn't have too long.  "I'm going on break, i'll be back in 30." She said and went across the street. This should be easy enough. Another costumer walked in, this time, a girl. "Hi and welcome to Marie's boutique. How may I help you?" I asked. "Why hello, i need 6 tulips." She said. "Wrapped up or in a vase?"   

"Vase is fine."

 I ran back into the back room and got the flowers. I did what I did before, cut their stems to a length, and stuck them into a vase. My, was this an easy job.  "Here you go, love." I said and handed them off.  "Thank you miss." She said and left.  Before I knew it, Jenny came back. She was slumped over, I'm guessing she had a big lunch. "You okay?" I laughed. "Yeah, big lunch is all." She tried to stand to stand up straight. I just laughed my head off. I ran to the bathroom really quick and used it. I'm still ecstatic about getting my first job. I'm gonna like it here.

6:00 eventually came around, and I said goodbye to Jenny. Before I left, she stopped me. "Be here every morning at 10:00." She had said. "Will do!" I called out, and left for home. I can't wait to tell the guys about my day. I got home and sat down on the couch. I took my shoes off and went into Nathan's room and fell on the bed. "No hello?" Nathan said and stood at the door. "Hello." I said through muffled pillow. "Good enough." He said, and kissed me on the cheek. "Well? Aren't you gonna tell me where you work at?" He nudged me. I sat up and fake groaned. "I work at that boutique. You know, Marie's boutique?" I said. "Oh. that's nice." He said. "Nicely, you mean." I said. "Haha, somebody knows their nicely's." He asked. I just laughed. "I told the guys about your new job, they're happy for you." He said. "Well, that's nice to hear." I said. Tom walked in. "Hey mate, we have to go shoot the video for Lightning. Get ready, we leave in 1 hour. Kayla, you can come to if you want, and congrats on your new job." He said, and closed the door. "Well, all superstars must get ready." He fake-gloated. "Oh shut up." I said. He laughed, and went to go shower. While he showered, I decided to change my clothes. I had been in the same ones all day, and they stunk. I changed, and went into the living room. I saw Max and Jay playing FIFA. "Hey boys." I said. "Hey Kayla, congrats on your new job." Max said, not looking up from the T.V. "Thanks." I said. Mariah came out of Jay's room and greeted me. "Hey, congrats on your job." She said. "Thanks, are you going with us  to the shoot?" i asked. "Yeah, i'm going." she said. "Cool."      

I went and watched the guys finish playing FIFA. Nathan came out of the room and all who we still had to wait on was Siva and Tom. "Siva!! Tom! Come on we're all waiting!" Max called. Siva came down just as he said that. "Calm down, i'm here i'm here." Siva said. Tom came down shortly after. "Okay we can go."

A/N~~~ Hey people. This part was really uneventful. I'm sorry for not updating like i said i would. School is taking up my free time. Hope to update again soon.
