Katara exhales slowly as the chill breeze creeps onto her skin. Her mind drifts off and sways steadily with the ocean waves. Before Katara had the chance to reconsider her actions, she was already walking out the doors.

Her eyes catch the trail of footprints on the soft snow.

She bends down and digs her hand into the snow as she concentrates on her waterbending. "...Azula." She hissed. "I found you." Her lips turn into an evil grin when standing back up.

"Promise me you won't throw yourself into harm's way from here on out."

Katara's eyes fill with tears as she gapes. "Aang..." She spun around, eyes searching for him. "A– Aang?"

But there was no one.

"Right." She swallows hard and turns around. "You're dead now."

Katara takes a moment to acknowledge what just happened. But it felt like time stood still; like this reality was just an endless nightmare and she was trying to claw her way out. Nevertheless, the image of Aang drawing his last breath replayed itself over and over again.

Nothing else matters, but that he isn't there with her anymore. An involuntary whimper escaped her lips as she began to follow the faint footprints on the snow.

Tears spilt over the sides of her eyes like her complete hopelessness of Aang's survival converted into tears that rained down her face at lightning speed.

Katara halts and runs her hands through her hair. Irritation surged up inside her as she felt her temperature rising and a vein bulging out her head. She could almost feel her blood boiling inside her veins.

She lost the person she loved. This type of loss inflicted a sort of wrath Katara couldn't put her finger on.

Then she was all of sudden aware of her situation, aware of how much she was willing to find and end Azula at all costs.

Princess Katara puts her feelings aside as she discards the hair tie which held up her hair in a high ponytail, letting it fall over her shoulders.

She doesn't hesitate to form a large mass of water to produce a tremendous wave as she surfed on the crest of it for faster transportation, searching for vengeance.

A few minutes pass by and Katara loses track of Azula's footprints. She's a hundred per cent convinced she was going the correct way but it seems there are missing footsteps.

"What the..." Katara lands on the ground and takes a look around.

Out of the blue, a fire blast is launched toward Katara's back, but luckily the young waterbender is alarmed by it when she blocks it with an ice wall.
