"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘-𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐄
𝐝𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐚𝐚𝐧𝐠..."The following five days pass in a blur and before Katara knew it, the wait is over and it was the day Katara would be crowned as Queen. She was going through so many different emotions.
As she looks into the reflection of her coronation dress through the mirror, Katara's heart pounds in anticipation. Everything she has worked so hard for has led up to this moment. An experience that will change her life forever. There's only one question left...
Was she ready?
She hears a knock coming from her door as Katara inhales a deep breath. "Come in!"
The door opens, and Sokka steps in with a massive smile on his face as he jogs to Katara.
"My little sister is growing up so fast!" He cries out, squeezing Katara into his arms and shuffling her hair playfully, making sure he wouldn't mess up her hair or Katara would kill him. "I can't believe this day has come! Just a few moments ago you were just a little girl playing with dolls and always asking me to play!" Sokka resumes to fake cry.
Katara grimaces. "Hey, you ruined my dolls."
"Shh." Sokka replies with a snicker as he releases Katara from his arms. "But jokes aside, you look beautiful, sis. Like always, of course, and I'm so proud of how far you've come."
Katara blushes, nudging Sokka to hype it down. "Thank you, Sokka."
"And I've come bringing gifts." He announces and he claps his hands as a cue as someone opens the door and walks in.
The waterbender's eyebrow twitches. "Gifts? Sokka. I sincerely appreciate the gesture but I don't need gifts–"
"Oh, you don't want the gift?! Well, I guess my job here is done." The person speaks and spun around towards the door, a grin on their face as Katara gasps loudly. She claps a hand over her mouth and her face breaks into a huge smile.
"Toph!" She jumps enthusiastically as she ran to her earthbending friend. Before Toph could turn around to say one of her sarcastic retorts, Katara throws her arms at her and hugs her tightly, almost causing her and Toph to fall back. "I missed you so so so much–"
"Alright, Sugar Queen, that's enough for hugging time." Toph pats her back. "The affection is becoming unbearable."
Katara shuts her eyes and hugs Toph even tighter. "But I missed you, Toph."
