"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘-𝐒𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐍
𝐠𝐢𝐫𝐥𝐬' 𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐮𝐭""Your Majesty, good morning!" One of the royal staff members shook the princess awake. "King Hakoda organized a busy schedule for you, Princess Katara. I'm here to prepare you with the dress fittings for your coronation."
Katara groans and nods as a response. She gets up, ignoring the aches and protests of her body. "Mh... Alright." She answers. She notes down to remind her father that he can't persist in setting up schedules for her without authorization every time something important or nerve-racking is coming up.
Being a princess was hard enough and the stress Hakoda is putting on her won't make becoming Queen any easier.
She kicks her legs off her bed as she heads for a shower whilst other servants began to bring clothes and dresses into her room for the princess to try.
With a start, Katara zips into action. After showering, she moves onto her routine and proceeds to brush her teeth, moisturising her body and slipping on a new pair of underwear before walking out in her robe.
As the servants hanged up the dresses picked out for the princess, Katara looks over them with a critical eye.
"Do we have anything in royal blue?" Katara wonders as none of the dresses caught her eye yet.
"These dresses are only the first set. There are many more to come yet, Princess Katara." One of the servants responds.
Katara frowns. "I don't like none of these dresses. They're not my style and I bet my father picked these out." She confesses, turning to the servants and flashes a smile. "Please bring in the next set so we can hurry this process up."
The servants obey and bow before gathering all the dresses and bringing them out as Katara ordered them to.
A few remain behind with the princess. One of them who seemed to be a middle-aged woman moves closer to the stressed-out waterbender. "I peeked into the throne room and it almost seems the entire world is here to see you be crowned Queen and the potential of welcoming a new King. Are you ready?"
"Am I?" Katara chews on the inside of her cheek as she considers the question. "I don't even know what I'm ready for any more." She runs her hands through her hair in frustration. "Am I even up for this?"
"And yet you made it this far." Another voice speaks.
Katara spins around and smiles. "Suki! I'm so delighted you made it." She goes to give a tight hug to her sister-in-law and peeks over to see if Sokka would be out there to pull any kind of trick at her. "Where's Sokka?"
