"𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐓𝐘-𝐅𝐎𝐔𝐑
𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐝𝐨𝐰𝐧"Great, this was all Katara needed right now. She tries to get out of harm's way and Azula just had to appear out of nowhere to trouble her even more while Katara is already hurt as it is.
Princess Katara curses under her breath when blood begins to go through the fabric of her clothing caused by the damage Ozai caused to her abdomen. Plus, she had a rough hit on the head while fighting Azula, too. Katara practically has no more strength to combat anymore.
She could hop onto Appa's saddle and fly away from Azula as far as possible. But that would permit her to get involved in the current battle taking place between Aang and Ozai. She can't risk it and it was becoming a lose-lose situation.
Katara gulps and glances at the state of Azula's arms. It was dark when she used her bloodbending to take away Azula's firebending by breaking her arms, but she didn't acknowledge how much the damage would have looked like as she scans Azula leaving trails of blood droplets with every step.
"Oh, my Spirits..." Katara slightly gasps. "How is this possible...?" She lets out in a shocking tone, not anticipating that Azula would be able to stand even after receiving such a blow.
"Don't act so surprised." Azula hisses, her hair looked awful but remained in her classic bun. "You did this to me and yet act all shocked about it." She huffs.
The hairs on the back of Katara's neck stand as she peeks over her shoulder at Appa and Momo. "Go." She demands but the two creatures don't budge. "I said go! Please!" The princess implores.
Appa roars, despite not dreaming of leaving either of his friends in danger, but he had to obey. He takes off into the air which sets loose a light weight off Katara's shoulders.
Now back to Azula, who stared back with her piercing amber eyes, Katara inhaled sharply. "Don't do this, Azula." She whispers.
Azula rolls her eyes and takes little steps toward Katara. "Let's finish this, you and me." She smirks. "The winner gets to kill the other."
Katara clutches tighter on her wound, feeling droplets of blood stream down her neck from her head injury. "I can't." Katara blurts out. "I broke your arms, why can't you accept your defeat already?"
"Because Katara." Azula raises her voice. "I will never accept defeat from you." She proclaims in a low tone. "Never."
"You're gonna have to, you can't bend anymore." Katara would take a step back every time Azula took a step forward.
"Until you break both my legs, until you take away my ability to curse at you with my tongue..." Azula tilts her head. "Until there's only one of us remaining, I'll never accept defeat."
