"Guys! We're back!" I called.
"Finally." H grumbled. I scoffed as we dropped all the take-out onto the counter.
"Aren't you the one who dragged us to at least 10 different stalls?"
"Hey! If I didn't do that, you wouldn't have gotten that massive bag of spicy snacks!" H defended.
I looked away from him, still hugging my giant bag of hot snacks to me like it was an oversized teddy bear. He snickered and began taking all our food out of to-go bags. I began to help but started noticing something 'off'. H seemed to notice the same thing as we went to the kitchen door and looked around outside of it. Nothing. Not a sound and definitely no sight of our friends.
"You think they went back to bed?" I offered. H frowned deeply.
"Not if they were excited about food, which they were." He muttered. I took another quick glance around before grabbing onto H's arm. Teleporting upstairs, he almost doubled over in Endie's doorway from exhaustion but there was still no sign of our friends. Okay, now I'm worried.
"H, I don't think their here." I said, nervously.
"Give me a minute, I'll try teleporting to them specifically." H huffed. Yeesh, is exhaustive teleporting painful? It sounds like it. I helped him over to Endie's bed and had him sit down to rest.
"You rest, I'm going to go check outside." He opened his mouth but I was already heading for the door. "I'll shout if something happens."
I raced down the stairs and to the front door as fast as I could, swinging it open. I was greeted with not a single hint of the trio. Now I'm really worried. If they got taken, wouldn't there be a sign? And who would want to? I know I don't go off on missions with them, but last time I checked all three of them can hold their own- ARROW!
*THUNK!!*
I ducked just in time for it to miss my shoulder but catch my hair. A note was attached to it, but I ripped my hair from the arrow and bolted into the forest after whoever the hell shot that. That was almost my head!

Herobrine heard the front door slam and unfamiliar whining coming from the living room. He was about to go check when the sound came up the steps and there was Anna, tossing someone onto the floor of Endie's room. The man on the floor scrambled away from her and the little baker gave him a cold glare.
"Don't move." The frightened archer nodded his head rapidly and kept quiet.
"Wow, you pissed her off." Brine mumbled.
"He almost shot me." She answered, flatly. She reached over and held out a crumpled note to him. "We have a problem."
Brine snatched the note and quickly read over it. It was a pretty run-of-the-mill kidnappers' note, something they've become used to since hunting the anti-hybrids, until the end. Where it specifically had Anna's name.
'-and no funny business, Anna Vendella. We'll be watching.'
"How do they know your full name? I don't think you ever let that slip." H asked.
"I have my suspicions, but there are ways of finding out for sure." Their unwelcome visitors caught their attention and shivered under their glares.
"I-I don't-" Anna's arm reared back and there was suddenly a bow and arrow pointed directly at his forehead.
"Lie to us and I'll make sure it doesn't kill you first." The archer's eyes went wide and he began to shake, but kept his mouth shut. "How did your group know my name?"
"W-We were hired to find y-you!" He squeaked. "I-I don't know w-who but they said w-we could have th-the hunters if we g-gave them you! Honest!"
"So we were both right." Brine growled. Looks like their problems really are intertwined now. He glared back down at the cowardly archer and took out a map. "Where are they?"
"I c-can't-"
"You can and you will. And if your lying, I'll come after you myself after we're done with your friends." He warned. The archer shut up and quickly took the map, shakily pointing out where their camp is. "Good call." H stood up and took out a potion, chugging it. "What should we do with him?"
"Hm," Anna's cold stare narrowed before she rolled her eyes and released the bow. The archer sighed in relief before it got caught in his throat. "I'll give him a head start."
He scrambled to his feet and bolted out the door and down the stairs, fearing for his life more than ever before. Brine was about to ask if she'd really let them go when she left the room and headed for the roof. A few minutes later, she came back down and tossed her new bow around her shoulder.
"Huh, my aim is still there." She hummed.
"Anyone ever tell you your terrifying?"
"Eh, once or twice." She shrugged and hugged his arm. "Let's go get our friends back."
