*A Few Days Later*

"Home sweet home."- H
"I can hear Creeps already." -Me

"Oh thank god, they didn't burn it down." Endie sighed in relief while me and Brine laughed. We walked inside to see Creeps and Bones arguing about something. Creeps spotted us first, shut Bones up after saying something about the backyard and smiled. "What is it now?"

"Nothing, just something stupid." Bones rolled his eyes but I noticed him glance at the back of the house when Endie stopped looking. Endie went up to his room and me and H shared a look. "Anna! Your OK! Could have sworn Brine said you were about to murder your family by now."

"Thanks, H."
"Not like I was wrong."

"Ok, so what happened to the backyard?" I asked. Creeps flinched.

"Heh, I have no idea what your talking about."

"Oh really?"
"Yep. The back yard is fine." Bones shrugged.

I felt a hand on my shoulder and blinked, only to find a giant crater in front of me. ...Your kidding, right? I turned to see the back wall. Nope. This is real. In the middle of the back yard were giant craters in the ground. Part of the house was over a huge one and my guess is they filled that wall in before we got here because the thing was still smoldering. The garden? Gone. The portal room in the basement? Half destroyed, all the portals damaged in some way. I heard Creeps and Bones run out here but I just couldn't take my eyes off the giant mess. It looked like it was from multiple explosions but I can't think of anything that could-

"Did you piss off Withe again?!" H snapped. I jumped and almost fell in till Bones caught me.

"Awe come on! Give us the benefit of the doubt?" Creeps asked.

"Did you?" I asked. Bones nodded and Creeps hit him upside the head lightly and 'explained' themselves.

"We were bored, needed to test a new power, and we thought it would be funny!" Creeps answered. "It's not like we meant to get caught.... Stupid pigmen..."

"...." H sighed heavily. "Endie is going to kill you."

"Not if we fix this before he wakes up!" Bones laughed, now holding armfuls of dirt.

"Wait- did you say 'new power'?" I asked.

"Well, apparently, lightning charges hybrids, too.-" "How'd you get struck by lightning?!" We got ignored. "Sooo, we figured we'd see how big the explosion gets and get some supplies, too."

"Please tell me you did not steal from the Wither." Brine groaned. They chuckled awkwardly and backed away. "Please-please-please tell me you did not blow up his mansion, steal his crap, and get caught doing it!"

"We only stole his challenger loot, it's not like he uses any of it." Bones mumbled.

"..." I have never seen a man this frustrated, angry, and resigned to his fate in my life- and I needed a second to stop laughing. "What's so funny, Anna?! My eventual thousand respawns from a pissed off Wither or my rage?" I calmed down and he already wasn't as angry now.

"Both!" I laughed. "Calm down. He already took his anger out on these two and our yard, remember? Why would he come back for you?" He took a second before rolling his eyes and calming down a little. Creeps and Bones let out a breath.

"Your a miracle worker, Anna." Creeps sighed and hugged me. "Thought I'd have to give up my sweet new shield." She whispered and I chuckled. Home sweet home. Bones made sad puppy eyes at me and held out a stack of dirt.

"Help us so your best friend doesn't kill us instead?" I shook my head and was about to take it from him when I was scooped up by Brine.

"Yeah- no. I won't throw you to Wither myself but your sure as hell not getting any help from this one."

"Wait, noooo..." Creeps whined as he walked off with me.

"Hope you make it in time!" He yelled. We got back inside and he set be down, groaning loudly.

"Are you trying to wake Endie up?" I asked and leaned over the couch he fell across.

"Ann, their going to get me killed."

"You'll respawn. Plus, like I said: Why come back?"

"Wither holds grudges. Many, many grudges. He dislikes most people, but hates me. We can get along, but that changes nothing."

"So?"
"This isn't over."
"Than go fix it."
"What do you mean?"
"Go apologize and bring a gift."
"Can't. I won't get into the mansion."
"He blocks your teleporting, too?"

"Far worse. I can't even teleport near his mansion if he starts blocking me, much less to him. Not to mention I'll get one letter out and a wither skull is going to replace this beautiful face right here." I rolled my eyes. "...But I am supposed to go hang out with them all tonight..." He sat up quick and I jumped back, chuckling at the sudden mood shift. He was grinning but there was definitely a smirk in there. "Your coming with me!"

"Like hell." I scoffed. He just started laughing. "I got lucky with Ed but we're talking about the Wither who you just said is going to try and kill you. I don't have my knives and I doubt even those would prevent me getting one-shot by a wither skull to my own face."

"I'll protect you."

"Last time you said that, you got killed by a dragon and I was stuck in the End."

"We'll be with Notch. There is no way my brother would let him hurt you. Plus, he's wanted to meet Ed's 'pet' for a while now." I choked down a smile and stuck my tongue out at him. "Seriously, though. You should come. What else do you have to do? Wallow in self pity while listening to the sounds of Creeps and Bones running from Endie's wrath."

"You- have a good point. Fine, I'll go."
"Yes!"
"But you better protect me."
"I promise I will this time."
"Don't add a 'this time' to that!"
