"Please just tell me?"
"Nope. No way."

"Ugh, fine. Creeps is waiting on us, something about wanting to kidnap you and going shopping in Ferris City."

Usually she would have hated the thought but today, it sounded nice. She and Ed said their goodbyes, Ed joking about her holding a little fashion show for him when she came back. But something was defiantly behind it.

Seeing as the pure, unfiltered malice radiating off the dragon wasn't aimed at her or Endie, Anna decided to stay out of it. Boss mob affairs still confused her a bit and she's smart enough to stay 'oblivious' to what she can. She took Endie's hand but Ed stopped him before he could teleport away, sending a nervous shiver down his spine. 'I pity whoever he's pissed with today.'

"Hold up. I need you to come back after you drop her off, I've got a job for you."

"Why must you ruin my days off?" Endie asked, flatly. Ed chuckled, eerily calm despite his mood. Endie and Anna shared a look.

"Don't worry, it probably won't take long. Especially for you."

"So what's up?"
"I need you to get Brine here now."
"What did he do this time?"

"Hmm..." Ed thought for a second but frowned. He knew what they'd be about but he hadn't figured out why she wouldn't talk to Endie about it. Than it clicked: He's the one who saved Anna. He'd blame himself. He shook his head and patted his friend on the back. "Don't worry about that. Just know that he'll be in respawn a while after."

"Noted. ... Is this about Anna?"
"Why do you ask?"

"This is worse than I've ever seen you, and I could tell she had another nightmare before she even spoke this morning. Did she tell you what it was?"

"No. She was too shaken up by it and I didn't want to make it worse."

"Ok, just, if she does, you'd tell me right?" Ed smiled, softly.

"For the strong silent type, your such a softy for cute things." Endie flustered a bit, huffing in annoyance as he tried hiding it.

"She's my friend, what do you expect?!"
"Normal friend caring?"
"Than what's your excuse?"

"She's my little rabbit. I want to protect her. Call her a pet if you want, but I'd have to hit you for it." He answered with a smirk before laughing at the annoyed look he got back. "You two are really close, Endie. She's a very honest person, and you know it. If she's hiding something from you, it's probably to protect you."

"From what?"

"Dude, you'd run into fire to save a complete stranger if you dubbed them worthy of it. Even I hide stories from you because I don't want you hunting down everyone and wasting away just to help me out." He answered, some of the malice edging off. "Leave her be. She's a smart girl, if things got too much to handle, she'd tell us. And in any case, you'd be the first to know regardless of if she did."

"Fine, I'll try calming down." He sighed, shoving the thoughts away as much as he could. "So, bring Brine here and I can leave?"

"Yep. Simple and easy."
"I wish him luck, see you soon."

Poof, gone.

~A few minutes ago~

Anna took a pillow and smacked Herobrine with it. He flailed a bit, falling off the couch. She giggled, leaning over the back of it.

"Morning, H."
"What was that for?"
"Consider that favor repaid."
"What do you-"

"Endie's getting a job from Ed. He's pissed about something and I have a wild guess it's you." His face paled and she shook her head, frowning. "What did you do this time?"

"Nothing lately! What makes you think it's me?!" She shrugged and he froze. They heard Endie teleport into Brine's room. A second later Endie popped into the living room and Brine immediately dipped out. Endie sighed, having hopped he was still asleep so he could get this over with.

"What did he need?" Anna asked.
"Him."
"Why?"

"Don't know, he probably pulled something stupid. This'll take a while, I'll be back."

Poof, gone.
