"Enjoying yourself?"
"Eep!"

I turned on my heels and jumped away from the banner I was looking at. Ed chuckled and leaned back up again. Without the lingering fear of getting attacked, I could actually focus on him now. First off, how is he so tall?! He's taller than Endie and H, who both tower over me. His black hair was a mess but somehow still put together, his purple eyes were both piercing but relaxed, and when he chuckled I could have sworn I caught sharp teeth. Real sharp. I can't tell if I'm more afraid or interested, but if he was going to kill me; he would have.

"Y-Yeah, actually." I answered, avoiding his gaze. "I-I never thought I'd get to s-see a castle in real life. M-Much less go into one."

"Well then, why don't I give you a tour?" He asked, kindly. It caught me off guard and he could tell. "I'm bored and your entertaining me already."

"I haven't even d-done anything." I answered. "B-but yes please."

He motioned for me to follow and I complied, popping one of the normal lava cookies into my mouth. I made a lot of practice batches before this one, so you could say I have an infinite amount of snacks on me now. The begining of the tour was relatively quite, aside from him snapping his fingers once. I giggled slightly as he mumbled an 'oh yeah, there's that.' He'd show a room to me and I'd admire it before we moved on to the next. I slowly calmed down from my nervousness and he seemed to relax from his previous bad mood and terrifying air to him. Or maybe that was just in my head. I was caught off guard when he actually did talk to me.

"So, your Endie's friend? This is the first I've heard of you."

"Endie's a little overprotective sometimes." I said, awkwardly. "I just met Creeps, Bones, and H. That probably wouldn't of happened either if it wasn't for Creeps hassling Endie and H being, well, H?"

"Really? H? Whatever. So, how did 'H' convince you to come?"

"Whatcha mean?"

"You tried helping him trick a dragon and you don't seem like an idiot." I narrowed my eyes but ended up giggling. He has a point, dang it.

"I promised to make Endie a batch of Ender rolls but I needed Chorus fruit for it. The trio left to get more supplies so the only person left to ask was H.  He said we had an errand to run before hand and to bring the cookies. I put two and two together, but it was already too late when I did." I finished off another cookie, taking a water from my bag. "If it helps any, I had plenty of waters for you."

He chuckled, ending the tour in the kitchen. I plopped down in the booth and he sat across from me, staring at my third lava cookie since I got here.

"You can really handle those things? I smelt an insane amount of spice in those."

"Hm? Oh, no. Not at all. But these ones are the normal ones. I've got tons." I finished it off, sipping from my water bottle.

"Can I try one than?"

"Hmmm..." I giggled and took out a few of each cookie, identical in every way. "Want to play a game?" He smirked, leaning against his hand.

"Of course."
"Close your eyes. You probably have super sight or something." He hummed and closed them. I tossed the originals in the box, mixed them, than opened it again. "Mkay, open 'em. So here's the game: Every round, one of us picks up two cookies. If you get a good one, you win, if you get a bad one, you lose."

"Weren't there more bad than good?"
"Yep! Ready?"
"Heh, yep."

We both immediately lost the first round. I was left laughing and on fire and he wasn't fairing any better. It was a good five minutes of us laughing off our pain and trying to calm down before we even started the second round. I don't know how long it took for us to empty it but we did. By then my mouth was numb but at least the cookies taste great.

"Do you think Endie's realized I'm here yet?"

"Seeing as he's been trying to teleport to us for the last hour now: Yes."

"Wait really?"

"Yep, I've been blocking it." I pouted and he laughed. "Awe, don't give me that look. We had to finish our game, didn't we?"

"I guess." I suddenly feel a little more trapped than I'd like. As if sensing my annoyance he stopped smirking and smiled at me genuinely.

"It's not like your trapped, hun. If you want me to let him take you home, Ill stop right now. All you have to do is ask." I smiled slightly, my mind eased. I definitely don't trust him, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. "Oooorr, you could make those Ender Rolls now so I can have some, too."

"Now that sounds like a good idea." I said, making him laugh. I hopped up and he gave me free reign of his kitchen. The chests were fully stocked, apparently by Endie, and there were a few books stacked on the counter, also given to him by Endie. The entire time I was gathering ingredients I could feel him watching me. I couldn't tell if it was mistrust or what, but I wasn't planning on letting him continue without helping me. "Come help me, please."

"I don't think that's a good idea, Anna. I'm pretty bad at cooking and anything like it." He answered, coming over to me despite his words. "Also, I like watching you."

"If you want to watch, you have to help. Thems the rules, Eddy." He smirked in amusement, purple eyes narrowing. Thoughts I really didn't want to be having rushing through my mind as I looked away. Most of them ranging from 'wow they are pretty' to 'that is a predator's gaze: I'm screwed.'

"Eddy?"

"I-I, uh," Where the heck am I going with this, I have no idea why I called him that! I'm so calm around everyone else in the world, dangerous or not, why does he make me feel this way?! "I like nicknames, sorry. I'll stop." I mumbled to the side. I heard him chuckle and move in front of my view. He kneeled down and looked up at me with a relaxed smile this time.

"I'd much rather you call me Eddy, Anna." He said. "Don't worry so much, I don't think I could hurt you if I wanted. And I don't."

"O-Oh." I said, giggling awkwardly. "I'd like that. Eddy it is!"

"Great. Now let's get to work. Maybe we can bribe Mr.Grump into letting you visit me again."
