"M-Morning everyone." I mumbled, rubbing my eyes. Creeps gasped and dropped the food she was holding, rushing towards me. OH GOD NO- "Gah!" She hugged me tightly, making it harder to breath. I'm not awake enough for this so my body instantly gave up on me. "I'm not awake yeeeet...."
"I'm so sorry my friends are idiots!" She said. I couldn't help giggling, Endie popping in seconds later. "Me and Bones didn't know about it! You had me worried sick, did you even eat the last few days?!"
"I brought her food. You think I'd let her starve?"
"No, We just don't trust you for anything else right now." Bones answered, tiredly.
"Ow."
"What were you two doing anyway? We saw you asleep in the corner." He asked.
"He was beside my door and I needed comforting." I shrugged, attempting to unhinge Creeps from me. It wasn't working. "After that, we were both too lazy to go to our own beds."
"Your own bed? So you'll really stay?" Creeps asked hopefully. I giggled.
"Of course."
"Why?" Bones asked. He came over and got his girlfriend off me."I'd hate us if I was you." He got an apple chucked at the back of his head. Oh, H is here.
"It's not like she could have done anything, numbskull." He grumbled, getting a new apple. "At least Endie let me meet her before it happened, I wouldn't think twice about scorching her otherwise." I pouted and he popped up between me and Endie, patting my head. "Ok maybe a little, your adorable."
"Offense stands." I grumbled but he just laughed. "I'm in a cooking mood, who wants breakfast?"
"I'll help!" Creeps chimed in.
I smiled and nodded. That's good, my baking far exceeds my cooking skills. The guys sat at the table while me and Creeps got to work. According to Endie, she's really good at cooking but never does it unless anyone asks. Needless to say, her offering brightened me up. Guilt popped into my mind every once and awhile but I kept it back as best I could.
"So, Anna. I wanna know more about you." I hummed in response, cutting up potatoes and carrots. "Do you have any family? I'd imagine their worried." This- caught the guys' attention.
"Yeeeeah- not really. I mean, I have a few brothers but they keep their distance."
"Awe, why? Not a good relationship?"
"I'm closer to the oldest but close in general to none of them." I got a wooden bowl and cracked some eggs into it, making a smaller portion of the batch for spicy scrambled eggs. I like my breakfast hot.
"This is the first I've heard of them." Endie mumbled. I smiled.
"I've got a strict 'Don't ask, don't tell' rule. Kinda had to in that city." I dropped some netherwarts and a little bit of magma cream into the spicy batch. "You never asked."
"Did they live in the city?"
"Nope."
"Who are they?" I feel interrogated. I put the eggs into an iron pan and pushed them into the furnace, sitting in front of it. Creeps pouted. "Did I hit a cord?"
"Nope. But I'm not going to answer that in front of H." I glanced over and saw him stop. He smirked and looked over at me.
"And why's that? Does the angel have some demon brothers?" Pft-
"You could say that. They've been on your list before and I'd rather not risk it."
"You burn down two cities and you're marked for life." He said, dramatically. I giggled and shook my head.
"I said they were on your list before. They paid their debt, that's not what I'm worried about."
"Than what risk is there?"
"Them being stupid enough to do it again."
"Fair enough!" I took the pan from the furnace, putting the other pan in. Mmm, perfect. I put some on a plate and swiped some of the vegetables Creeps was cooking onto it. "Is breakfast done?"
"Mines is. You guys' will be done soon." I answered, plopping down in front of the furnace again. Mmm, this is perfect for a cold morning.
"What's the difference?" Bones asked.
"She makes hers spicy." Endie answered, not bothering to look up from his book. H lit up and looked at me. I laughed, fork still in my mouth. I set down my plate and got him one, bringing it to the table for him.
"Dude, this is delicious." He said, I rolled my eyes and took out the others' eggs.
"How much do you love me, Anna?-"
"Not enough."
"Booo!"
We laughed as Endie begrudgingly got up and helped Creeps make everyone else's plate. He plopped down beside me on the floor and I giggled, him stealing some of my eggs. He made a face and teleported away, coming back with a bottle of water he was chugging down. I was simultaneously trying not to choke and laugh.
"You two are insane, that's way too hot."
"You know you hate my eggs, why'd you try it again?"
"I thought you said you lessened it recently!"
"I did. You just can't take it."
"Like hell I can't."
"Fine than, Mr.Man. One plate of my eggs, no water."
"Deal."
I got up from the floor and got a smaller portion of eggs, knowing he's wrong. I handed it to him and continued eating mines smugly.
"This is too big."
"I gave you half our plates worth."
"You can finish off a buffet, woman."
"Whatcha trying to say, Endie?"
"You know, suddenly this looks delicious. Wonderful job, Anna." He took a forkful to shut himself up and I laughed. We jumped when we heard the others laugh. I forgot they were here!
"It's weird seeing Endie so lively." Bones stated.
"Yeah. It's like he's a whole different person with you, Anna." Creeps added.
"I-I'm still here, g-guys." He mumbled. I smirked.
"Having issues, buddy?" He narrowed his eyes at me.
"Nope. None." He barely got that out.
"Win and I'll make Ender rolls today."
"You just watch!"
He practically devoured the entire thing than and there. I laughed at his triumphant look, awarding him with a water bottle.
He chugged 3 of them.
