"Hey, Anna?"
"Hm?" Endie nudged her and smiled.
"Calm down." She sighed but gave him a small smile. "Who knew I wasn't going to enjoys seeing you so emotional today."
"Well I was hiding it for a reason." She answered, still not 100%. "What did you two expect?"
"I don't know, some kind 'Jekyle and Hyde' thing to happen." He shrugged and she smiled, shaking her head.
"Not like you need to introduce one of them, but who'd you bring with you?" Arin asked, brushing himself off. Only He, Patrick, Ogden, and Zach had heard her call earlier. Other than various staff already preping her room from when Arin told them to on the way there. She gave him a look but he brushed it off, putting his hands up. "I know you wouldn't bring anyone you don't trust, Ann. I just want to know."
"Seconded." -Ogden
"Same here." - Patrick
"So you know how I said I have a friend who got me off the Cobble Rock Kill list?" They nodded. She slid to the side and motioned to the enderman hybrid. "Ta-dah."
"Pft, cute." Endie mumbled.
"I know, right? Endie, was it?" Arin asked. He nodded. "So, we have you to thank for protecting our sister. Thank you. From all of us. I just wish we could have met under better circumstances." He looked to Brine nervously. "L-Long time no see." Brine snickered.
"Now, you, I remember." Arin pouted and Patrick laughed, hard.
"You make one mistake multiple times and your marked for life." Arin huffed and Anna giggled. Hearing her laugh made him feel a little better about the whole thing. If anyone would help them, it'd be her.
"How long are you staying?" Ogden asked.
"As long as it takes." She looked up to her two friends with a sorry smile. "You don't have to stay if you don't want to."
"No way, someone needs help, I'm in." Endie said, ruffling her hair. She grinned. "Which brother was it anyway?"
"Freddy." Patrick said, sadly.
"Oh, we are absoultely breaking them then." H said, surprising the group. He rose an eyebrow, smirking. "What? If these two are in, I'm in. Like it or not."
"Thanks, guys." She said, sounding more relieved than they expected. They didn't know why but ignored it, turning to the brothers.
"Do you mind if we stay?" Endie asked.
"We can just teleport back everyday, can't imagine having him here is too comfortable."
"Seeing as all of us have almost died to him from dumb debts, not at all." Ogden answered. "But we'll get over it. Thanks for helping, we need all we can get."
"So, one room or two?" Patrick asked. He and Anna shared a look the others didn't understand, or at least their brothers didn't.
"And what have you been spilling?" Endie mumbled, narrowing his eyes at her. She snickered and looked away.
"Nothing, but Patrick does knows all my ships."
"Damn you." He looked back to Patrick, about to say something when he got cut off by Brine.
"One." Patrick and Anna looked dead, the other two brothers slowly getting it. Arin sighed, hitting Pat upside the head but it didn't stop their giggling.
"Ignore them, they do that to literally everyone." He sighed. "Ogden, get someone to prepare a room for them."
"On it." He got to the stairs and stopped, sighing. "Anna?"
"Yeah?"
"Zach passed out on the stairs."
"... I swear to god, every time-" Anna began mumbling and walked towards the doorway. Endie and Brine looked out as well, spotting a beaten up zombie hybrid face down on the stairs. He woke back up but couldn't get back up. "Just got back from a job?"
"Yep."
"Pat, come help me."
"Yes, Ma'me."
"Does this happen a lot?" Endie asked, entertained. He'd be worried it they weren't all so calm about it. Seriously, Ogden hopped over him and kept going to do what he was told.
"Yes." They all answered.
"Who is he?"
"A hitman who still just shrugs of wounds because he's a zombie, despite the fact- THIS HAPPENS!" Arin yelled, down. Said man was leaning against Anna and Patrick, snickering. "Mornin' to you, too, Boss. Beautiful as always." He chuckled. Arin looked ready to pop a blood vessel while Anna and Patrick quickly made their way downstairs with him, trying to hold in their own laughter.
"I'll show you to our house." Arin said, lowly. His guests were all too entertained with this. They followed him downstairs and to the right. He calmed down eventually, explaining that all the staff of the base live up top in the city while the family live down here. After a short hall they entered into a large living room with many rooms and halls leading off it. The place was basically an underground mansion from what they could see from there. "Explore anywhere you want except our rooms, though Anna probably couldn't care less if you went in her's. She and Pat should be back after bringing that idiot to the med-bay."
"Thanks. Arin, right?" Endie asked. He beamed.
"She actually talks about us? I'm surprised. She flip flops between ignoring us and over protective so much it's nice to know." He chuckled. "Mind if I ask something?"
"What's up?" Brine asked, dropping to one of the couches.
"Where's she staying now?" He asked. "She won't tell us and we were all worried."
"She lives with us now." Endie answered. "Well, me and our friends Creeps and Bones, but he might as well live on our couch now."
"How Dare!"
"Best friend perks." Arin laughed.
"Yeah, you two seem like her type of friends. Can't say I'm not bothered not knowing where she lives, but I'm glad she's got people to protect her now. Even if she never needs it."
"What do you mean?" He looked between the two and laughed, shaking his head.
"You'll find out sometime soon, I'm sure. I've got work to do, make yourselves at home."
