Once all the chaos in the room subsided, Lucas stepped into the corner of the room to make a phone call with the landline. It rang once.

"Lucas?" El's voice was jittery with nervous excitement.

"She's here, and they are both doing great." He peered over to Max who was watching him with a tired smile.

"IT'S A GIRL!" Lucas chuckled as he heard El yell to the others. "When can we visit?"

"Come around 5. I'm going to make Max get some sleep."

"Yeah, good luck with that. Congratulations! We'll see you soon!" With that, El hung up the phone.

"Are you sure you can take visitors today? They're not going to be upset if I tell them we're not up for it." Lucas asked, kissing her forehead.

"I really want them to meet her today," Max looked down at their baby, who was only a few hours old. "She's precious."

"She has your eyes." Those beautiful ocean blue eyes that Lucas fell in love with every day. "Can I hold her?" Max shifted in bed so Lucas could easily grab her.

She rested in his arms with his hand protectively supporting her head. Max fell asleep watching the love of her life pace the room with their baby. Lucas silently cheered when he noticed Max was sleeping. He sat down on the couch with his newborn, and everything became real. Lucas Sinclair was now a father, and he was going to give his daughter the best life he could.

Before he knew it, there was a knock at the door, and Max was awake. The party was here. Lucas passed his daughter to Max and opened the door. He was met with huge hugs from Mike, El, Will, and Dustin.

"Oh my god, she's adorable," Dustin cooed over his "niece."

The party hovered over Max and the baby before Lucas made them all sit down to hold her. El was practically crying. She was so happy for her best friends.

"Mike, I want another one," Mike's eye widened at her words. They already had two kids, and he wasn't ready for another yet. The party laughed at his response.

"I'm sure Max and Lucas will let you babysit in the future."

"Anytime," Max said, scooting over so El could sit in the bed with her.

"How's the mama?"

"Happy."

"Good. You deserve it. You both do." El smiled at her friends.

"I have a niece," Will had a smile that reached ear to ear. While none of them were biologically related, they were family and always would be. "I will be spoiling this child."

"I'm sure you will," Lucas's heart was melting at his friend's responses. They've all been through so much to get to this moment together.

30 more minutes passed, and Mike had to peel El away from the baby. "El, we have to let everyone else meet her, come on." The party left so the next group could come in.

Steve was tripping over his own feet to see this baby. He walked into their hospital room, and the waterworks just started flowing. Seeing Max, Lucas, and their daughter together just brought out an emotion Steve didn't think he had.

"Holy shit, you guys are parents now," Robin was in awe as she walked in after Steve.

"She must've gotten all of Max's genes because she's gorgeous," Erica teased her brother. Max laughed at the two while Steve and Robin were taking turns holding the baby.

"How does it feel to be an Aunt?" Max asked.

"Surreal. I'm still processing how Lucas over here scored you!" Lucas just rolled his eyes at his sister.

"You guys made one cute fricking baby," Robin admitted. Lucas and Max high-fived and intertwined fingers.

"I'm practically a grandpa," Steve was still in astonishment.

"Yeah, okay grandpa Steve, let's let these two get some sleep," Robin suggested.

"Alright, alright. I'm proud of you guys. Congratulations!" Steve, Robin, and Erica left the hospital room.

"Are those all the visitors for today?" Max was hoping he'd say yes.

"Yes. It's time for you to get more rest," Lucas practically commanded and set the baby in the crib next to the bed.

"Fine, but can you come and lay down with me?" She asked, scooting over.

Lucas laid down next to her. Max rested her head on his chest and heard Lucas whisper, "I'm so proud of you," before falling asleep.

I had no clue how to end this one-shot haha. Thanks, @BrishtiMukherje for the suggestion! I love when you guys leave comments so please do! I didn't want to ruin the one-shot by giving the baby a name, so you get to pick.
