modern-day (smut warning)

School only started a month ago, and Max felt she was already drowning. Her grades were shit, she was making plenty of mistakes at work, and she was getting annoyed with her friends.

It isn't that she doesn't love them because she does. They are just super clingy. Like today, Max wanted to finish her homework and relax at home. Will and El were texting on the group chat asking to hang out tonight, and if Max was being honest, she was not up for it. So, she didn't respond. Then, Will individually sent a "Hey, are you okay?" text. That didn't surprise her. It was in Will's nature to be concerned about his friends. She told him she was fine, just tired.

Thirty minutes later, El FaceTimes her, and she doesn't pick up.

"I just want to get this homework done," Max mumbled to herself.

Max then received another text. This time from El.

"Are you okay? I haven't heard from you like all day."

Oh my fucking god. I didn't know I was required to respond to you every second of every hour. Max thought to herself. She would never say that to El, but she couldn't help but get aggravated.

Maybe if I respond, they'll leave me alone.

"I don't feel like it today, but you guys go ahead!" The redhead was hoping the exclamation point would indicate that nothing was wrong. Since there was no response, she assumed it did.

Deep down, Max felt she was losing herself again. Everything in her life felt stationary, yet so much was happening. She was just there, simply existing.

However, there are a few things that make Max feel alive. There's a list, but it's not long.

Music.

Weed.

And Lucas.

That's all she needed right now, just those three things.

Luckily, they weren't hard to get.

One record.

One light.

And one call.

Within fifteen minutes, Max felt her life become slightly less chaotic.

Lucas arrived, pulling her into a hug. His arms wrapped around her shoulders while she hugged his torso. Max sighed, taking in his familiar scent.

When Lucas walked in, he saw the rolling paper on her dresser. He liked getting high with Max. If he smoked with anyone else, he would probably freak out.

Lucas and Max sat on her window sill and lit the joint.

They watched each other's pupils dilate while passing the joint. Each time they smoked, Max felt her pores open up. Not only did her pores open up, but her heart too.

"Do you ever feel...empty?" He stared at her for a second before she began to talk again. "Maybe empty isn't the right word but like not whole? If that makes any sense."

Lucas's eyes widened slightly at her words. "I have never heard someone put it into words, but yeah, most of the time."

"The only time I feel present is when you're here," The corners of her mouth lifted slightly.

He could feel his heartstrings plucked due to her words. Lucas would treasure those words for years to come.

The conversations shared while sitting on the window sill make them feel like they can cure world hunger with their thoughts.

"God, I fucking love you," Lucas sighed, admiring her.

The blush that arose on her cheeks nearly made Lucas faint. Her beauty was ethereal.

She leaned in for a kiss, and the world stopped turning. It always did when they kissed, but while high, the kiss was always slower. With the merest tilt, the two fell onto the carpeted floor.

They giggled into each other's mouths and didn't disconnect.

"I love you too, Stalker," She admitted before their lips collided again.

The skin-on-skin contact was electrifying, and each touch made them crave the other more. Soon, clothes began to shed from their bodies.

Everything was slow, and everything felt so good.

The steady kisses on her breasts left marks Lucas hoped would never disappear. She could feel him growing against her and couldn't help but smile.

He went down lower and began to kiss her inner thighs. Max couldn't tell if it was the weed, but she could feel herself tingling at his touch. Consent was exchanged, and her breath was stolen.

His tongue made Max touch his hair and grip the carpet. She always wondered what it would be like getting head while high. Each kiss made her shutter, and every lick made her eyes roll to the back of her head. It was euphoric.

He could feel her legs shaking when he pressed his tongue firmly against her heat. Max moaned out his name, loving how his head fit between her thighs.

A steady but firm pace had her finished in a few minutes.

Lucas went back up to her lips and began to kiss her again. He always wanted to give her the deep, passionate love she deserved.

Sorry for the shit ending. Ik it's bad but I haven't posted in forever. Life has been busy asf. If I need to revise this pls comment bc I'm writing this while not exactly sober lol. (Unfortunately, it is alcohol and not weed) :| Hope you all are doing well!
