reverse comforting pt. 2

After a few hours, the sun had set and Lucas was still sleeping in Max's arms. She kissed him on the forehead and he opened his eyes.
"Hi babe," she whispered pulling him closer.
"Hi," he said in his sleepy voice.
"Wake up sleeping beauty," she teased him. Lucas let out a small chuckle and smiled. Max was glad she got him to laugh.
"Do you wanna talk about it now?" She whispered. He sighed.
"I've just been stressed and going through a lot at home. I'm sorry for coming over without notice. I'll make sure to call you first next time." She looked into his eyes knowing there was more to the story.
"You know you're always welcome here, right? No matter what. I promise." Lucas kissed her lips softly and Max kissed him back.
"Let's sneak out," he said suddenly sitting up. Max gave him a confused expression.
"Sneak out? Why? Where? We live in a suburban town in Indiana. There's nowhere to go." He laughed and placed his hand on her shoulders.
"Too many questions. Not enough action."
He got out of bed and pulled Max up with him. Both of them tip tied to the front door and grabbed their shoes before leaving out the garage side door. Lucas held Max's hand as they ran as fast as they could away from her house.

After a few minutes, they reached a bench and decided to sit down. Lucas wrapped his arm around her shoulder while Max leaned her head on his chest and placed her hand on his leg.
"If something is bothering you, you can tell me," he sighed and kissed her forehead.
"As long as I'm with you, Stalker, I'm happy. Don't worry too much," Max smiled. She wished he would tell her, but Max didn't want to force Lucas to talk. They talked for a little bit until Lucas's favorite show came up.
"Yeah I love him he's just so misunderstood," she said. Lucas pushed Max off of his shoulder so that he could look at her.
"That's exactly what I'm saying!" Lucas smiled and Max did as well.

I decided to make a little pt. 2 and I probably

should've put them together instead of two

different ones but oh well.

Idk if I'll make a part 3 we'll see.
