chapter twelve: what does it mean?

"And then he kissed me and I woke up." you say.

"Holy shit you have a crush on Eddie!" Robin says.
"A big one too." Steve says.
"I think I might." you say. "What do I do?!"
"Well do you think he likes you too?" Steve asks.
"I have no idea I mean he did dedicate a song to me when I went to watch him perform last night, and we've gotten to know each other a lot. He also smiles at me a lot and he got me a gift based on the first time we hung out." you say.
"I WISH Vickie would be that transparent with me y/n. I think he definitely likes you." Robin says.

Steve runs over to the Family Video phone.
"What are you doing?" you ask.
"Just hang o- hey Eddie it's Steve!" he says.
"STEVE WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" you whisper angrily.
"So listen I'm having a Halloween party Saturday night and I'd really like you to make it if you can!" Steve says on the phone.
You look at each other and wait for Eddie's response.

Steve smirks as he hears his answer and says "yeah y/n will be there." You feel your face get hot and he smiles at you. "Perfect! See you there! Oh! Also it is a costume party so be sure to dress up." Steve pauses and says bye then hangs up the phone.
"You hear that? He asked about you." he smiles.
"She definitely heard it look how red she got!" Robin laughs and winks at you.

"Shut up!" you say, still flustered by Eddie asking about you.

You daydream about Eddie for the entirety of your shift. When you get home all you can think about is this coming Saturday and what could happen at Steve's party.
