This is the first time I've laughed hard in days. I've been in Malibu for only three days now. I'm at the diner with Landon and my cousin, Alison. She lives in Beverly Hills so she hangs out with Landon a lot.
I guess you can say my family has money. But we are still in a small town because my mom grew up there and isn't ready to leave yet. I think they want to move out here after I graduate.
"This table is too small" I said with a laugh.
"Move over" Landon joked as he bumped his shoulder into mine.
"I'll fall out of the booth" I said back laughing.
"This booth is made for one person and I think it should be me" He said and shrugged.
"Oh fuck off Landon" I said back and we all laughed.
"So Hailey" My cousin said getting my attention.
"So Alison" I said in the same tone.
"I've noticed you posting a new guy. Is he your boyfriend? Friend?" she asked me.
"Oh yeah I noticed too" Landon added.
"I don't know. I guess a friend" I said back as I looked down at my food.
"You're blushing" Alison pointed out and I laughed.
"I'm not" I said looking back up as I tried not to smile. Thinking about Justin does make me all smiley and makes me blush.
"You are too" Landon agreed.
"Tell us!" Alison begged.
"We're getting to know each other. We hang out a lot and well I do have feelings for him" I told them and I felt my face get more red.
"Aweeee" Landon teased me.
"Does he know that?" She asked me. I just nodded. "Does he have feelings for you?" She asked and I nodded again. "So why aren't you dating?"
"We've been taking things slow. Lucas and I broke up a month ago. So I want to go slow with this" I told them.
"What even happened with that guy?" Landon asked me.
"It's a really long story" I said shaking my head.
"We have time if you want to tell us" Alison stated.
"Okay well" I started to tell them the crazy things that have happened.

I've barely talked to Justin today. We were texting in the morning a little bit, but he stopped answering me. Now it's been many hours and no answer. I know he's not in school right now. School ended two hours ago for them.
