The doctor started to tremble. Her grip to the scissors even tightened to the thought that the man has come back to collect her life.

But no, the man...is asleep. The man is snoring lightly, unknowing of her presence and perhaps anything of the world. To make sure, she went near the man and put her index finger near his nose. She felt stable and sound breathing. He is definitely asleep.

However, as she stood closer, that's when she noticed swelling on his left cheek. He also has a cut on his lips, aside from his diamond scars. The doctor frowned.

Now what happened to him this time? Must he come to her place every time he gets hurt?

Last time, he was asleep like this too when she found him lying flat on the floor. What's different this time is that he's on her bed.

She shook her head. Must call the police. She quietly walked outside her room towards the telephone. However, she stopped on her tracks when she heard groaning.

She quickly turned around; the man is still asleep. However, the man's position changed. His body is now facing the ceiling, unlike earlier where he was facing the door. This time, she was able to take a good look of his right side. His right side is even more swollen. He has a dark and purplish circle around his right eye.

She panicked and even ran near the bed, worry visible on her face.

But soon realized...

No. This man is bad news. She mustn't help him this time.

Who knows what he would do this time? Last time, her life may have been spared.

But who knows now?

She stood up quietly and went to the door. She ran outside.

But then, her conscience wouldn't let her escape.

So, she stopped and sighed.

"Let's just quickly run away right after tending to his wounds. Got it, Yukino?"

If people were to hear her, they would definitely think she's gone senile.

She found herself walking inside once more towards her room, finding the man in the same position after getting the first aid kit.

The sound of faint crickets resounded in the quiet dawn where Bonten's number 2 has awoken. He slowly opened his eyes and saw faint darkness in an unfamiliar place.

"Whose room did I woke up in this time?" he asked and then slowly got up when he felt his right rib twitch. He touched his right side only to feel bandage wrapped around him. He's only wearing his pants, bandages around his stomach area, and his arms. He also felt patches on his right cheek and other parts of his face. He also tasted something sticky and bitter on his lip.

He looked around, only to see used and bloodied cloths and other medical supplies on a single table on the right side of the bed. That's when he realized that he is back to the doctor's clinic—no, he's back to her room.

He slowly stood from the bed, took his top neatly folded beside him and walked outside. And that's when he saw her, asleep on her sofa.

With this sight, he cannot help but giggle lowly. He walked near and kneeled in front of her to closely observe her calm and serene face.
