"Over here, Yukino."
A hand is extended in front of Yukino who is now struggling to blend in with the people at the audience area.
"Take my hand. We're almost near our seats." At this point, a certain long-haired man took her hand and led the way towards their designated seats based on their tickets.
As soon as they're seated, she cannot help but look at the vast football stadium where they're in. They are in Saitama Super Arena in the Saitama Prefecture which only took less than an hour to travel from Shibuya. Saitama Super Arena is the world's second largest arena which can house an approximate number of 19,000 to 22,500 people. Right now, they're in the world-renowned arena to watch a certain soccer game that Kazutora Hanemiya wanted to witness. The brunette has nothing to do for the day, so she decided to tag along even with little to no knowledge about the sports.
"Interesting."
As a certain gray-eyed woman heard the man's voice amid the excited crowd around them, she turned around. The man is now reading a brochure which he received from the entrance earlier.
"What is?"
"I thought what I heard is only a rumor. Turns out a Japanese international player who plays for another country really is playing for the national team today." The man with amber eyes replied as he wore his sunglasses.
The sun is intense today at 2 o'clock in the afternoon, and shining brightly to the young talents playing with their dreams on the line. Not only Kazutora and Yukino are here for it but 20,000 football fans as well from all over Japan.
"Are you a fan of the national team?" She asks.
"Never. Their coach is crappy. Their ace is hella fraud. Only their captain is great. Good thing they were able to ask him to play for them."
"Who's him?"
"Sae Itoshi. The Japanese international player who plays for Read Madrid."
"Are you his fan, Kazutora-kun?"
"Something like that."
"Then, are we rooting for the national team?" She asks with clear confusion on her face. The man says he doesn't like the team, but likes the player.
The man scoffed and smirked.
"Nope. I'm here for their opponent, Blue Lock."
With this, the woman raised both of her eyebrows, curious about the opponent of the national team.
"Blue Lock? What is that?"
"Apparently, it's a soccer training project aiming to create a team that will take on the World Cup. I don't really get it, but it seems the government doesn't support it. And so, they plan to overthrow the program by clashing its team with Japan's U-20. Those money hags in JFA must really hate Blue Lock to even pit a national team against a team made only of strikers."
JFA stands for Japan Football Association
Japan's U-20 stands for Japanese soccer national players who are 20 years old and under.
The brunette could only stare at the man who just explained that in detail. Even if she doesn't understand some terms, she somehow understood the purpose of the match.
"You're a soccer geek, aren't you, Kazutora-kun?"
"Hmm, guess you could say that soccer is like the night sky for you as it is for me."
