We left the last chapter with smiles on our faces and happiness in our hearts as the lovers from opposite worlds reunite after months.

But what truly led the man's disappearance?

Did he come back because he chose her over his sworn king?

"Let's go. Mikey is waiting for us."

Bonten arrived at the headquarters after a long trip from Europe. Yes, they are finally back, complete, after an all-out war with one of the most powerful underground groups in the whole world. And won, on top of that.

But for some reason, something about tonight is heavy and unnerving.

"We're here, Mikey." Takeomi was the one who greeted the man in the center of their huge conference room, still with a void expression complemented by his dark aura and sinister presence, fit for the Invincible King that rules Japan's underworld.

"Yes. Take your seats." The boss ordered which they complied quietly.

There was a long silence before the platinum-haired tilted his head.

"I heard about your win against Paradiso." He started with his husky voice resounding in the room, as if to choke them of their lives.

"Good job."

"Is that what you want to hear from me?" he asks coldly, which made them turn away their gazes.

"That triumph wasn't only about you."

"It was made possible because of a woman." He added and stood from his seat.

"I can't believe that you let a woman overshadow you. Is this the Bonten that rules Asia?" he asked which solicited silence from the group.

"We stooped so low, it's disgusting. I thought you're aiming to become the number one in the underworld."

"I let you handle Paradiso because they're weak. But as low and feeble as them, you had the audacity to let a woman eradicate those losers?"

"And you spared the pillars? That's seriously disgusting, Bonten." The way their boss said those, is so nasty and dominating, that they literally felt hatred towards themselves while listening.
