Chapter 90: First Fight

"You ready now, girl?" Yukino turns to the entrance of her office where her friend peeked to see her.

"Yes. I'll be right there." She replies and walks towards her.

It's a Monday afternoon and another day is about to pass. It has been three days since the incident of the party. And till now, there is no news on the identity of the people who were inside the black vehicle. There is also no news about anyone looking for their missing relatives so the Police Department cannot seem to proceed with their investigation. However, a corpse that was found inside the vehicle have undergone an autopsy in a different hospital and results are still underway.

Another matter that the police are investigating was the room where they have found another corpse and gruesome scene. Yet again, no identity was identified.

But the most uncertain for Yukino is the reason why the host of the party, Ira Poderoso suddenly disappeared with his wife that night and never show up even until the police and the medical aids arrived. And for some strange reason, they are not suspecting him.

"I want to ask you something about what happened last Friday night. I hope it's not a traumatic experience for you." She turns to the woman with a worried expression.

"I'm fine. I didn't stay there for long, so I didn't interact with the guests. I also see didn't recognize any of them aside from Sir Ira and his wife because they were all wearing masks." The brunette replies. At this point, they have just exited the elevator leading to the second floor.

"What? Sir Ira is married?"

"Yes. His wife is very beautiful."

"Wow, I thought he was trying to hit on you whenever he sends you flowers. I guess we really cannot judge a book by its cover." As Doctor Hanami says this, this made the brunette to think deeply. Speaking of which, the man didn't send her flowers this time. Not like she was expecting any.

"Who was sending flowers to whom?" The two quickly turns to the direction of a long-haired male who is smiling to their direction.

"Kazutora-kun." Yukino smiles as soon as she sees the handsome man standing before them. They didn't even notice that they are already in the lobby.

"What are you doing here?" The brunette asks after the man gave her a kiss on the cheek which made the other female grin.

"I came to surprise my girl." The man replies which made Hanami chuckle and pinched her side.

"That's really sweet of him, Doctor Miyazaki. I hope I have someone to surprise me, too." Hanami says which made Yukino to slightly blush and smile.

"Pretty sure you'll find him soon." The long-haired interrupted.

"Anyway, what's this about the flowers I heard you girls were talking about?" The man asks, attempting to hear clarifications. Of course, the gray-eyed internally panicked.

"Actually..." she starts and was about to finish her words when...

"Doctor Miyazaki. Doctor Hanami." The three turns to the direction of the voice. Approaching them is the brown-haired bachelor they were talking about. Timing sure gets any more perfect.
