Chapter 47: Truth

"Thank you so much, onee-chan, onii-san!"

"Don't mention it. We're beyond happy to help."

"Tsh, I didn't do anything, though."

All the members of the Sewing Club are currently bowing to Yukino and Chifuyu. The two have now changed their clothes back, but the members continue to thank them.

"W-We're forever indebted to you, onee-san." One member said and shook both of Yukino's hands.

"We can't believe that our hard work would sell like that. We are so so happy. And it's because you were really pretty out there. Thank you for giving justice to the gown." Another commented which made a certain brunette blush.

"That's...not true. It's all because the gown is really beautiful. You deserve it for giving your best." The members once again smiled. Then, they handed two coupons to her.

"Please accept our token of appreciation, onee-san."

"What is this...?" The gray-eyed doctor replied and then accepted the coupons. As she read the content, shock and joy suddenly took over her.

"Yahiko-sensei mentioned that you like the night sky and the galaxy. These are coupons for you to enter the planetarium which will open next week. It is one of the prizes that we got today. We decided to give it to you for helping us. You may bring onii-san here." Another member mentioned.

"I...I possibly cannot accept something that you worked hard for yourself." The brunette said hastily and was about to decline but the members only shook their heads.

"It's fine, onee-chan. We wouldn't have won it without your help." The members then made a peace sign to the woman.

Yukino then lowered her hand holding the coupons and turned to a certain black-haired man, asking for his opinion quietly. The man only nodded.

"T-Then...we'll accept this kindly and enjoy."

"Yes, you surely will. Thank you, again."

The two started to walk away while waving to the girls.

"Shall I take you back now, Yukino?" A certain black-haired man asked when the two of them boarded the car.

"Yes, thank you." The woman replied and then the man started the engine.

As they are on the way, Chifuyu remembers his conversation with Yahiko while he was changing back his clothes.

"Earlier, you said you are ready to let Yukino go. What exactly do you mean by that?"

"Exactly what I meant." Chifuyu started as he wore his hoodie. The redhead only raised his eyebrow and crossed his arms.

"Are you saying you will choose Kaori over her? Can you do that?" The male being asked only sighed out loud, and then started to put the suit on a hanger.

"I already did ten years ago. All I have to do is continue to do so."

"Yes, you did. Yet you still hurt both Kaori and Yukino. What kind of changes will you be doing now?" It took Chifuyu several seconds before an answer came out of his mouth.

"I will let someone, who loves Yukino as much as I do, have his shot and respect her decision."

Yahiko couldn't muster a response to that. It's because he sensed the sincerity from his friend's words. He sighed in return.
