Chapter 105: Devil

With the help and betrayal of Ria Hanami, they have reached the port. But things are not that easy, especially that they are in an unfamiliar country and Paradiso's territory.

Tonight, she will learn that the soft and kind have no place in the underground society. And she will learn this...the hard way.

"Shit." Ria muttered upon recognizing the guards and vehicles surrounding the port, pointing their rifles directed to them. Then, a shadow appeared from behind them all...

"That bitch really makes me sick." She added again. Yukino started to panic on the inside, while Ria continued to think for a way to get away. She turned behind her, only to see cars blocking their pathway.

"Shit. They've surrounded us." She curses again which made the brunette turn to her direction.

"Bring those bitches in front of me." They hear the woman order her men in Spanish. It didn't take the guards seconds to forcefully get the women out of the car. They pushed them strongly to the ground, forcing them to kneel before their pursuer. All after being tied by guards from behind.

"Look what we have here. An angel and her guardian angel." The woman said. Ria started flailing to release herself from the grasp of the guards.

"What do we do with them, Orgullo?" Hearing that, the two turned behind them. There, they saw a serious dark-haired male with a blank expression.

"Seems like your little doll bitch wanted to let our angel fly back to the heavens." She even added which made Ria met eyes with her lover, Orgullo.

"Well? Should we set her free?"

There was a moment of silence. Ria and Orgullo are just exchanging eye contact, talking through a language they both...don't understand.

"Do what you want." Was all he said...which made the brunette panic. 

Not for her life...but for her friend. And just as she feared, the devil woman started giggling evilly before taking a handgun from her back and walked closer...to Ria.

"No...No... No! Stop! Don't hurt her, please! Don't! Please!" Yukino started to scream for mercy for her friend, squirming to protect her colleague. But she's just too...weak. Helpless. Alone.

"It's fine, Yukino-chan." She momentarily stopped to listen to her friend...while tears start to fill her eyes.

"Any last words, bitch?" Lujuria asked which made Ria to look up to her with hatred. She didn't utter a word. She simply let her eyes do the talking. As if to curse the other's whole existence.

Then, she turned to Yukino.

"Pull yourself together and be strong, girl. Learn to fight back."

"Don't just wait to be killed."

"Sorry for everything."

Yukino's lips start to tremble while she is listening to her friend say those words to her...without fear.

"Thanks for being my friend...Yukino Miyazaki." Ria added with a lovely smile. Like that of an angel.

"Goodb—"

...was what Ria Hanami last said before a fast bullet in between her eyebrows...cut her breath.

Yukino let out a loud gasp with the loud gunshot that resounded in the cold midnight, before screaming on top of her lungs.
