Chapter 37 - Elena's Visit

*time skip*

Nobody POV

Five minutes before Elena was coming, and they still hadn't taken down the dartboard.

"I get to keep it for stress," Aries announced, holding the Eli dartboard above her head. "I need to know that I can stab it whenever I want."

"Well, I need to keep it so that no one else steals it for their own uses," Gemini argued. "I'm the Queen of Sneaks. No one gets past me."

Aries slapped her arm. "Stop quoting The Sisters Grimm to me."

"I never thought that they'd be fighting over something Eli-related," Leo chuckled.

Taurus lifted a shoulder. "They're basically fighting over who gets to stab him the most, so . . ."

"Guys, just let Pisces have it," Libra said, prying the dartboard away from Aries. "And when Elena is gone, we can put it back up again."

Everybody looked to Pisces, who shrugged. "That's fine."

Aries snatched the board and ran up the stairs, presumably about to break into Pisces's room. Sagittarius came rushing down, out of breath. "I just . . . went to the roof. I . . . can see her!"

Cancer appeared behind him, also panting. "She's in a carriage. Royal carriage."

"Dang, she's really going for it all," Scorpio groaned, camped out on the couch with his headphones in. Pisces patted him on the chest. "After Elena's gone you can take your nap, okay?"

Aries appeared behind Cancer and shoved both Cancer and Sagittarius off the stairs, strutting down. She sat on the arm of Scorpio's couch, panting slightly, ad rubbed her leg. "I got it in. Unless Elena wants to snoop around in her brother's crush's room, we're safe."

Capricorn came out of the kitchen, followed by Aquarius. "Come on, just a simple prank," she pleaded.

Capricorn shook his head and sat down on the couch, sending her a look. "She's a princess. Sure, her brother is an asshole, but it would still be disrespectful."

"Aww, can't we prank her, Cap?" Aries asked, showing him her puppy dog eyes. 

He looked away. No one could resist Aries's puppy dog eyes, including him.

"No," he mumbled, a faint blush spreading over his face. "I told you, she's a princess. If we do prank her, then she can raise charges against us and we can be prosecuted."

Aries pouted. "Aww. I really wanted to prank her."

Meanwhile Libra was chewing on her thumbnail. 

"What is it?" Taurus asked, appearing beside her.

"I have a feeling Aries'll be even more willing to prank if she finds out about Elena's feelings for Capricorn. Should I tell her?"

Taurus shook his head. This is a rare sight of the Matchmaker's second-in-command in action, everyone. "Nah, she'll be obsessing over it all the time when she's here."

"Guys, she entered the building," Virgo said, walking down the stairs. "Get ready; we have to greet her, remember?"

Capricorn nodded with a neutral expression while Libra scowled. "I'm not letting Elena anywhere near him; or Aries."

"Why?" Taurus asked.

Libra lifted her head. "If she sees the way Capricorn and Aries act towards each other, she'll know that they're literally one millionth of a baby step from becoming a couple and will try to sabotage Aries, I bet ya."
