Scorpio POV

I folded my arms and glared at the misty form in front of me.

"You know you can't delay it forever," I said in a bored tone, barely flinching as faded green eyes glared out from the heap of bedraggled blanket. "You're being selfish."

"Selfish my ass," a muffled voice pushed. "Go away."

I rolled my eyes. "I want to. But I can't. I'm the only one who can see you. Would you kick me if I --"

"I would never pass up a chance to kick you, Scorpio," Libra sniffed, pulling the blanket over her.

I closed my eyes and rubbed my temples. "You're being a brat."

"This is how you act on a daily basis."

"Off topic. At least become visible to the others so they know you're there."

"I know they know I'm there. You tell them everything."

Libra glared at me again, and I glared back. Her form flickered under the blanket, then color slowly filled in and she was herself again, hunched under a coated blue blanket, glowering.

"There. I'm me now. Happy?" she grumbled, pushing it off of her.

I leaned against the door, biting the inside of my cheek. "No. Why the fuck am I able to see you when others can't?"

She shrugged and pushed past me, stretching. I ducked as she ruffled the top of my head, turning on her heel to send me a smirk. "Nobody's even found how we're supposed to claim the Realm yet, so . . ."

"At least talk to Pisces again," I requested, my stomach churning. Libra's eyes soured.

"Should've known you were only talking to me so I could answer that," she muttered, turning so that her blonde hair nearly whipped me in the face. Streaks of invisibility sped across her, and then I was looking at a slightly less visible Libra. Her form was fuzzy around the edges and I could see through her as she set off soundlessly down the hall.

A sigh made my eyelids droop, and I bit the tip of my tongue, straightening up again. "You know I can still see you," I called, exasperated.

"Whatever!"

I frowned and set off after her, following the train of her weirdly lacy dress into several rooms before we emerged into the main room of our wing. I blinked and looked around, and I'd only caught a glance of Libra picking a cheeto from an unsuspecting Aquarius's food when I felt something ram into me.

"OW!" My voice burst out of me before I could help it as pain bloomed across my south of my backside. My face burned and I turned to see whoever it was who had kicked me -- there -- but I was even more surprised when Aquarius gasped behind me.
