Aries POV
"I can't believe they didn't have the moonstone," Cancer sighed, his arm around Taurus. "We were so persuasive."
"I know, right?" Taurus asked, putting his head on Cancer's shoulder. Cancer seemed to think it was a buddy-thing, and I didn't have the heart to tell Taurus that he was probably being friend-zoned.
"I wonder what the others are up to," I murmured, looking out the window of the mini airship. Our family's mansion was apparently extremely far away from the Dragon Sanctuary, so we'd had to use one of those to get there. Right now it was on an automatic course back to the Sanctuary.
"Check your phone," Taurus suggested.
I took out my phone and widened my eyes at all the unread messages. "Wow."
"What?" Cancer asked.
I showed him my phone and he gasped. "Why the fuck are there so many messages there."
I knocked him on the forehead. "Language."
He grumbled at me as I scrolled through the messages and Taurus winced. "Don't worry, Taurus, we'll get your sprained ankle better in no time," I told him without looking up from my screen. "Wait -- Leo and Virgo held hands?"
Cancer widened his ewes and snatched the phone from my hands. Taurus peered at it. "Oh my god they did."
"But they're not a thing," Taurus pointed out. And winced again.
"You okay?" I asked him. He nodded. On the way to the airship, he'd sprained his ankle tripping over a tree root. Why he wasn't looking at the tree root, I had an idea.
"Ok just let me reply really quick," I said. "I'll ask if they're out yet and tell them your ankle is sprained."
