They have only just about enough time to get themselves cleaned up and in some clothes, before it's time to go. There won't be time for breakfast, but Todd doesn't care. He's not hungry, because he's high on love, high on all the sex last night.
Great, fucking awesome sex. He stretches his body languidly as he reaches down for his cello case. A day of music, and then back here, with Ian, discovering more about him and how sexy he is.
Actually, he could never have suspected just how sexy and kinky he is. Todd smiles to himself as he hoists his cello on his back, then looks back to see if Ian's ready.
He looks okay, really, despite the fact that his fuckwit parents didn't pick up the fucking phone. Who does that, when their son calls from Taiwan? But he knows them, of course. He knows Ian's dad, he knows what a mean drunk he is. He knows his mum too, and what a blatant narcissist she is. He knows how it's been for Ian, all those years.
It's just so weird to think that those two poor excuses for humanity managed to create such and awesome, wonderful guy. Who still calls them, even if they've done nothing to deserve it.
He shrugs it off and walks to the door. Ian doesn't want to talk or think about them, he knows. So neither should he. He can just wallow in the happiness he's created with his lovely Ian.

Brett and Eddy come out of their room, just as he presses the button for the lift. He's grabbed Ian's hand, intertwining their fingers. It feels so, so right. He can't help thinking back on last night, and on what those nimble fingers of his did...
Eddy's ridiculous smile breaks him out of remeniscing.
"So, beauty sleep working for you much?" he quips and Todd shakes his head.
Look. Eddy can rib him all he likes. It's fine. God knows he's ribbed Eddy often enough, so he guesses he deserves it now.
"Yes Eddy, thank you." he says kindly. "So er... just to let you guys know, I called my mum, just now. Ian called his folks too, but they didn't pick up. So I guess... well, yeah, we're officially out, now."
"Wow!" he says and Todd blinks quickly to hide his emotion. Yeah. Eddy is very well aware of how few times he's called his folks about a guy, in his life. He knows what this means. Eddy smiles softly as Brett nods too.
"Awesome!" he enthuses. "I think we're having dinner with the whole orchestra later, right?"
"Yep." Todd says as he pictures walking in there with Ian on his hand. It'll be nothing short of a victory lap. "Some sort of buffet type thing, I think. But let's go, yeah? We'll be late."
"You'll be the talk of the town."
Todd grins as the doors open and he steps into the lift.
"Fucking well see if I care."

Todd has long since given up wondering what people will make of his sexual orientation. They can just deal with it, or not. But yet, now, this time... he feels it. Because it matters. Because he's proud, of the man on his arm. And he knows he'll punch anyone who dares to be anything less than accepting of him.
Ian smiles sweetly at him as if he's reading his mind. Then he leans over and kisses him, just softly, just gently, but he feels his tongue peeping out. And, oh, it would be so easy to get into that again, but no. He grabs himself together and lets go, just as he sees Eddy smiling at them happily.
"Exactly." Ian tells the group with a definitive nod, and Todd admires him so much for it.
Ian is all in. He's awesome.
