Arani

"W-why is there a problem?"
I asked. What the hecked is happening? Why so sudden?

"Shariel is pregnant, you hear me....Your Ate is pregnant with our third child but she's not in good condition, sensitive ang pinagbubuntis niya. Kailangan ko ikaw para mag manage ng kompanya habang wala ako. Kailangan kong tutukan ang mag ina ko Arani. Are you in? I cant lose my child and also I dont want my company to stake."

"Why Mommy?" nabibigla parin ako pero sa pag sabat ni Reury ang kinabahala ko.

"Tito...naririnig ka ni Reury.."

"Oh..Hi! Why your Mommy?...simple...I know she can handle my company professionally. I trust her that's why. Is that enough reason. I hope you let your Mommy to come here..."

I am torn in between 'taking this opportunity and back to the Philippines again' and 'declined and rather to stay here with my daughter'.

"No, I won't let her. Im sorry" I was shocked and unable to  speak or pronounced words I just cant execute.

"B-but why? I need your Mommy for this job and she's the one for that position..."

"Even if I disagreed my Mom can choose what she want. Im just support her, I can see that this is way far from what she can do by being with me...So, Im in...please help him Mom. We can't lose the baby. Anyway, Congratulations!" Hindi ko alam kung nagingasaya ako sa pagpayag ni Reury.
Gusto kong makatulong kay Tito pero magkakahiwalay kami ng anak ko. Hindi ko siya pwedeng isama dahil may pasok siya dito.

"I thought...your disagree Reury...thank you. What now Arani? Its your choice anyway..."

"Wait me there...I'll book my ticket. I love to help you Tito. Kaya lang magkakahiwalay kami ni Reury..." napatingin pa ako sa anak ko.

"That's not problem you ca--.."

"May pasok siya Tito after a week before her vacation..."
I cut him. Hindi ko yata kayang mawalay sa anak.

"Oh that's a problem...kailangan na kita as soon as possible because my company has a big project to deal with this week. You can leave her to your Dad while you here. Tsaka na lang natin siya pasunurin dito? Ano okay na ba yun?..Im sure Reury will understand. Right Reury?"

"Yes, but she need to promise me one thing...Mom call me always. Promise me?" parang gusto talaga ako nitong paalisin ah.

"Yeah right...Are sure with this Reury? Almost one week without me, are you okay with that?" tumango naman ito na kinalungkot ko.

"Tito she's a grown up now...she can okay without me na."
Pagdrama ko pa. Tinigil ko na ang sasakyan sa tapat ng bahay namin. Kinuha ko ang cellphone habang nasa kabilang linya parin si Tito.

"That is a good sign Arani...you dont need to worry about that...so your in? I tell this to Shariel...Bye seeyou!"

"Wait!...Tito! Anak ng...hayst!" Walang hiya talaga.

"Mommy.." nag angat ako ng tingin kay Reury.
Nakita ko ang lungkot sa mga mata nito. Probably she is not liking the idea of being apart with me.

Lumabas ako ng sasakyan at binuksan ang pinto kung nasaan siya.

"Come here...Hayst big girl na anak ko. Why you agree hmm? Honestly, I dont want to leave you here but in the second thought I want to help Tito because he is the one who help me now and then Im going to return the favor. Im happy also because you understand the situation. Hindi muna pinahirapan si Mommy kaya proud ako sayo."
She is started to cry that's why I lift from her seat.
