CHAPTER TWELVE

You let out a loud yelp as your body was thrown to the pole nearby, slamming your body against the metal pole in the process.

"(Y/n)-san!-" Emma and Mikey tried to rush over to you but three guys grabbed the both of them, holding them in their arms tightly with one hand covering their mouth so that they wouldn't make a sound.

A figure approached your body then crouched down to your level in front of you.

Reaching out to your head, the figure gripped tightly onto your hair and pulled it back.

A painful grunt left your lips as you slowly opened your eyes and immediately, your heart dropped when you came face to facewith him.

Yujiko.

A cocky grin was plastered on his face as he saw how much pain you were in.

"It's nice meeting you again~!" He said.

"You fucker.." You cussed a him.

"Well dang! What's with the attitude?"

"Cut the crap. What do you want?" You asked with an irritated look.

Yujiko stared at you for a few seconds and then smirked. "I want to know where your little boy friend, Sano is at" He replied to your question.

You raised a brow at him . "How the hell would I know?"

"Okay, I'll ask you again. Where. Is. Sano?" Yujiko repeated himself but this time, he seemed impatient.

"Seriously, I don't know where he is right now. Even if I do, I still wouldn't tell you-"

Your eyes then widened as your collar was pulled forward, closer to Yujiko's face.

A vein popped out of his forehead as he looked into your eyes, still looking very impatient.

"LISTEN. I am still not fully recovered from those hits that you gave me two weeks ago. I couldn't move my body for FIVE DAYS STRAIGHT." He continued, "Now while I'm still being patient with you, how about you tell me where he is?" He repeated and got no response from you. "Do I have to let you spit it out the easy way, or the hard way?" He asked with a threatening tone.

You glared at him once more and without hesitation, you said to him.

"You can suck my ass."

His left eye twitched after hearing your words. He stood up from his place with a pissed off look on his face.

"I see you've chosen the hard way."

You took a few steps backwards, covering your nose with your hand as you felt the blood pour out non-stop.

"(Y/N)-SAN!!" Emma screamed but only sounds of muffles were heard because of the hand covering her mouth. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she and Mikey watched in horror as you got beat up.

Yujiko came launching at you and threw a punch at the corner of your left eye, causing a big bruise to appear.

You fell to the ground on your bottom and used the palm on your hands to keep your balance.

Yujiko went behind you then kicked your back, causing you to fall forward.

You grunt in pain as your body fell and landed on the concrete ground.

Another sharp grunt left past your lips as you felt your back getting stepped on by his heavy boot.

Letting out deep breaths, you turned your head over your shoulder with furrowed eyebrows.

You tightened your jaw as he grabbed a chunk of your hair and pulled it back once again to face him.

"Still don't wanna tell me?" He asked one last time as he got closer to your face.

"Go to hell." You scoffed at him.

Yujiko flared his eyebrows at you. "Tch." And with that, he lifted his boot up from your back and stomped on your left arm.

Your eyes widened as you felt your arm being crushed.

He let go of your hair and you just fell face first to the ground, still in complete shock.

At this point, you couldn't even scream or move anymore. Your body is too weak.

You just laid there on the ground.

Yujiko clicked his tongue and began to walk away from your body. "Pathetic." He said as he walked past his subordinates. "Take the two kids with us, we could maybe bring them to use." He commanded and the subordinates complied and followed their leader.

Upon hearing that, Emma and Mikey began to struggle and kick the people carrying them.

Emma bit the guy's finger, making him remove his hand from her mouth.

"(Y/N)-SAN HELP!" She screamed for you with tears streaming down her face uncontrollably.

But you were still on the ground, not even moving an inch.

"(Y/n)-san please wake up!" She cried out for you again.

Your hearing was starting to fade away. You only heard muffles from her.

You were tired. So tired.

Guilt washed over your body, knowing you failed to protect them.

Your head was beginning to become hazy as well as your vision.

"(Y/N)-SAN HELP ME!"

You closed your eyes. "I'm sorry Emma. Mikey." You muttered to yourself as you felt yourself drifting away.

"(Y/N)-SAN!!"

"(Y/n)-san you need to wake up"

Your eyes opened upon hearing the voice.

"Emma and Mikey needs you"

That voice... You know that voice.

With all your strength left, you moved your head to the same direction where they left but instead of seeing Yujiko and his gang, you saw a familiar figure. Your heart dropped as you met eyes with him.

You froze as you recognized the figure standing a meter away from you.

You couldn't believe your eyes.

Your late younger brother... Just standing there.

"Noe.." You muttered.

Immediately, you remembered what happened to him 7 years ago. Sunday, March 23rd, 1988.
