CHAPTER TWENTY-SEVEN

Sleeping peacefully on the futon with Shinichiro snuggling with you, your legs intertwined with each other.

Suddenly, a cold breeze hit your bare skin sending shivers down your spine.

Your body trembled as you hugged yourself. "So cold..." You mumbled.

Shinichiro reached his hand out to the blanket below your feet and pulled it up then hugged you tightly, giving you warmth.

The both of you soon fell back to sleep in an instant but not even 5 seconds later, the bedroom door was kicked open startling the two of you.

"WAKE UP LOVE BIRDS IT'S TIME TO—" Wakasa and Benkei barged in and froze when they saw you and Shinichiro laying on the floor.

"Damn what kind of lewd shit did you two do last night?" Wakasa asked, seeing how Shinichiro wasn't wearing anything but his boxers.

"God Wakasa... It's so early in the morning. Why are you being so loud?" Shinichiro sat up while rubbing his eyes.

"MORNING?? MOTHERFUCKER IT'S 10:30 AND DARK OUTSIDE" Wakasa shouted as he pointed at the clock.

"Oh"

"OH? THAT'S ALL YOU GOTTA SAY?- YOU KNOW WHAT" He stomped towards Shinichiro. "GET YO ASS OUT OF BED WE'RE GOING OUT FOR A DRINK" He grabbed Shinichiro's arm and started dragging him across the bedroom.

'Since when did Wakasa get so loud?' Shinichiro thought to himself.

Closing the closet, you noticed two small figures poking out from the crack of the door.

You turned around, "Emma! Mikey!" You greeted them.

"Where is (Y/n)-san going?" Emma asked, noticing how you were dressed in a casual outfit. A long sleeve black turtle neck paired with a high waist satin skirt.

"Oh I'm gonna go out with Shin and his friends! We're just gonna go celebrate their victory" You replied.

"Can we go too?" Emma asked.

You thought for a second. Wakasa did mention that there's gonna be alcohol involved so it probably wasn't gonna be a good idea to let the kids go along...

"Pleaseee (Y/n)-san? We promise we'll be good..." Mikey said as he gripped on your shirt, staring right at you with those big puppy dog eyes.

You wanted to say no but you just couldn't. Letting out a sigh, you nodded your head. "Sure you two can come along..."

"YAY!!" Emma and Mikey both cheered as they jumped up and down.

The bedroom door was pushed open and Shinichiro entered the room.

"Hey what's with the noise?" He asked curiously.

"We're going with you!" Emma exclaimed.

"Huh?! What!?!"

"Sorry Shin... I couldn't say no.." You gave him an apologetic grin as you scratched your nape.

Shinichiro stared at the three of you for a moment then exhaled deeply. "Then you might want to hurry and get dressed... I don't think Wakasa and Benkei would wanna wait any longer"

"Okay! C'mon you two let's go find your outfits-"

"We wanna match with you and Shinichiro!" Mikey exclaimed.

You raised your brow and then turned to Shinichiro, realizing that you both were matching turtle neck shirts.

"Mikey I don't think you have the same shirt as us- Okay what the hell" Shinichiro looked at you dumbfounded when two smaller sized long sleeve black turtle necks appeared in your hands.

...

"Stay still" Wakasa said as he struggled to pull the white kitten off Benkei's face.

"Pull harder!" Benkei said.

"What are you two doing?"

A voice suddenly interrupted making Wakasa and Benkei turn to where it was coming from and the cat jumped off Benkei's face.

A stunned look appeared on their faces upon seeing the four of you.

"We're ready to go!" Mikey raised his fist in the air happily while his other hand held yours.

A faint blush was visible on Shinichiro's face as he scratched his chin. "Can we go now-"

A click and a camera flashed at the four of you.

"BAHAHA WHY ARE ALL OF YOU WEARING TURTLENECKS?" Wakasa and Benkei bursted out laughing, tears forming at the ends of their eyes.

"I'm sending this to Takeomi" Wakasa said, still giggling as he went to text Takeomi.

"Hey we should probably get going now, Takeomi's waiting" Wakasa suggested as he stood up alongside with Benkei. "By the way that's your cat right?"

"Mhm! Her name is Tofu!" You said as you held her up to him.

He took a step back. "She's a feisty one"

"What do you mean?" -(Y/n)

"She tried to bite my ear and rip Benkei's face off" -Wakasa

"Oh I'm sorry! You two aren't hurt are you?!" -(Y/n)

"Nope we're perfectly fine" -Benkei

You placed Tofu down on the floor and told her to stay home before walking outside with the others.

"Oh and also, I sent the picture of you four to Takeomi and he said that you look like a happy family"
